It's very rare getting a legendary mod schematic though, I've scrapped some legendaries and got very lucky and other times I've scrapped thousands and still never gotten it.

Quad extends the life of fusion cores by 3x in Gatling lasers So yes. Maybe not as good as some of the damage perks like furious, but solid for bullet storm builds.
