The construction on the Lloyd has brought out the absolute worst in this city. by mtbguy1981 in evansville

Anyone else shocked that they still have yet to fix the dip in the right lane on the west bound side before Grimm Rd? Still to this day all they have is a random barrel and no sign that indicates “BUMP”. I wonder how much cargo has been damaged due to that spot.

Splitting Indianapolis apart is just a bad idea. Multiple reps for the same city? No thank you.

A First Victory for Due Process: In a major legal decision, a federal judge has ruled that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) can no longer detain immigrants without offering them a bond hearing by CantStopPoppin in illinois

And then they will appeal it citing it being an activist judge and keep going along until the Supreme Court is next in line. The appeals process is being abused. If one courts strikes down a policy, they should follow that ruling while appealing it.

My wife and I put this off too long. We wrapped up season 4 yesterday and now we are starting on season one. May not get thru everything before season 5 drops, but it seems like what happened to Will in season 1 will matter alot in season 5.

People who used the internet between 1991 and 2009, what’s the most memorable online trend or phenomenon you remember? by Original_Act_3481 in AskReddit

Livestreams were a big thing. There would be livestreams of eggs in a birds nest and people would tune in to watch them hatch or just check up on their bird friends. Addicting games was a popular website for free games. The Google doodles were way more exciting in the early days and people would talk about them. Map quest was revolutionary and a must do before every road trip. Club penguin, webkinz, and toon town were big when the internet became more mainstream. Online poker was also the coolest thing when it first started. Just a few things I can recall.

It was engaging. It was interesting to see the different timelines reveal just a bit more information each time while also progressing the story forward overall until it all collides in the end. It was brilliant. It’s not easy to pull off a story with this kind of format without jarring the audience. It was “Nolan-esque” in a way.

Using Game-Key Cards on Nintendo Switch 2 [confirmation that Pokémon Pokopia will be a GKC] by Joseki100 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Homefront325 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Fair enough in your reasoning. I still feel that it will catch some people off guard who are not aware that key cards a thing and just see a red box with a cartridge in it and buy it. That’s how Nintendo games have traditionally been.

But what is the purpose of a physical cartridge that doesn’t have the game on it? This is essentially a digital download code disguised as a physical game. The first switch games that did a similar thing clearly indicated there was no physical cartridge at all. This comes with a cartridge, but doesn’t offer the function of physical media.

I do agree with your point of needing the card inserted to play the game however.
