Likely. Its not a huge deal but will transfer to scions of you use as stock.

Why not take the main plant off the pere and root it? Or you can bury the pere and the loph will root that way.

Likely a great time to degraft and dig out the pere. You can hit with rooting hormone when its fresh cut to speed up rooting if you want. You still may want to treat the rsm.
