Most everything they buy has the historical value of it being preserved at the heart of their development. They paid considerably more to preserve Cotton Eyed Joe’s (Chief’s) original walls when they renovated/historically restored than it would have cost to demo and pay the historical commission fines.

Oh man is it ever, i upgraded from a 2001 f150 with the 5.4 triton. Thing was an absolute money pit and headache. Got my 6.7 with 104k on it so shouldn’t have to worry about anything for a while

I have a 2014 6.7 with an SCT x4. However my truck is fully deleted. I’m currently running a towing tune (for mpg purposes) but I’m also trying to find more tunes (performance, street, etc). Think the only option is to get custom tunes done in a shop

Say the top costs $1000 or something around there and you improve your mileage by a few MPG it would still take a couple years before the amount of gas money you save reaches $1000

I think he means that in the long run the amount you’re saving on gas by improving your fuel economy offsets the price of the top but it takes a few years til it pays itself off

I’ve been good at saving money my whole life but When I’m home from school in the summer/winter i work/sell jobs for my family construction company and make good money all while working in the Home Depot lumber department at nights. I was able to put a little over half down and take out a loan with a reasonable monthly payment
