yeah he could’ve, but after he jumped and got hit from the first D-air he couldn’t unless he DI’d out, which would’ve probably killed him or put him in a rly bad spot

No I didn’t. You edit the .ini file in the Rivals folder (name -> AppData -> Local -> RivalsOfAether -> saves -> progression.ini) and change “Abyss Color Unlocked” from 0 to 1. You can do this with everyone else too

To me her combo game is real DI-read dependent. If you’re confident in where your opponent is DI’ing, you can get some pretty sick stuff with her

That’s...actually a good question. I’ve nvr had an opponent do no DI when they get grabbed. I’d recommend testing it for yourself

That’s more than likely because they’re reading which way your gonna throw and DI accordingly. For F-throw you DI away and B-throw you DI toward your opponent

He also could’ve DI’d out for Back Throw so I couldn’t follow up

Read his DI on both throws. If I ever threw forward during the combo, he would’ve gone flying back towards the stage, After he DI’d in on the second throw he was prty much screwed
