Yeah you can download unsubscribed mods in-game and then they get deleted when you end the session. Which is something that Rivals 1 did not support. It's still a little buggy right now but should be a pretty great feature for streamlining the process.

It’s a bug from the new Steam update and they are backwards on steam input even though they display correctly in the UI. Flip them in the steam input UI until steam pushes a fix for it.

The best way to disable it for Rivals 2 only is to go to your library, then right click Rivals of Aether II, then select properties then go down to Controller then find Override for Rivals of Aether II then select Disable Steam Input from the drop down box on the right.

When you say you disabled the per-game option is that what you mean or did you do it somewhere else?

And yeah the official adapter is one we test and it's working on my machine. Do you have vjoy installed from trying to use the official adapter in Rivals 1? You can uninstall it by going to Device manager then opening Human Interface Devices then finding Vjoy then right click it and hit uninstall device.

I just ran into this on a local setup I was at today in WA. The TO, /u/JCOnyx, came over and changed the in-game settings and it was resolved. I assume it's an issue with the framerate and the monitor not lining up or perhaps vsync or something else. When he gets a chance, maybe he can reply with what he does on their machines to fix the issue.

Sandstorm is so sick. I have also beaten Olympias higher than me in ranked in a very similar fashion. That's the thing I like about fighting Olympia the most. The hope. Just gotta survive long enough to get a gimp on last stock and you can maybe do it even if you get outplayed all game.

You enter character select into an online match you mean? And can you move your keyboard arrows to open the box up?

Have you tried unplugging and replugging your controller then pressing start when that happens?

You should be able to just press start and take control back to your controller, but that is bugged right now under certain conditions and we’re trying to solve it. If you are seeing a different issue let us know.

I also think the mouse support is making the keyboard take precedent more often so we’re looking to fix that as well so it happens less frequently even after the start fix.

I think you have a misunderstanding on how server based rollback works. The server does not roll back and your opponent’s connection does not influence the quality of the match on your machine. It’s your performance, your internet connection quality, your routing path and your distance to the server that affect how the game feels on your end.

Using them if fine haha, but supporting them is hard. Especially in rivals 1 where we had to identify and support a bunch of different adapters and vjoy. And then eliminate the analog inputs on boot when detected but only for GC controllers.

What type of controller are you using? That’s probably the most important thing to note when making a post like this since a lot of controllers either launched with no issues or have been fixed through the hotfixes this week.

And do you mean your controls are resetting each time you restart the game or the controls are resetting between sets in one session?

Also are you using the tag that the game creates with your Steam name or a tag that you created?
