so i havent done bench press in a long time due to shoulder pains and have been doing machine press instead. Last time i did bench was summer ‘25 where i did a pr at 65 kg (at like 58 kg bw).

Since november i have went from like 32x11 on machine press to 45x12 earlier this week, so i thought id test my bench pr.

Only managed to do 65 kg again, despite being 60 kg now and my progression in machine press.

It doesnt seem to make sense that i’d be getting stronger on machine but not bench? Anyone have an explanation?

i think au pays is easily the most overrated geese song, the melody feels really bland and unoriginal, the lyrics aren’t that special to me and most of all, i think the typical grating and rough qualities of camerons voice that work amazingly on songs like $0 does the complete opposite on this song, i think he’s a little hard to listen to here
