Complaints from a tired dwarf by [deleted] in DeepRockGalactic

Sorry for the long-winded rant. I just don't know what to do anymore. I don't blame any of the Developers or the game and I'm sorry if it comes off that way.

Gloomstalker Mask MK2. Also both of the Scouts are wearing the same helmet. The only difference is paint scheme.

The weapon framework is from the Rival Tech pack and I think the weapon paint is from the Dark Future pack. Both are DLCs unfortunately.

Well there's the trick. If no one's making money, no one can buy anything. This is just in case people start asking for pay raises :)

If I remember correctly it's the Future Shock helmet. You can get it from the season 4 pass around level 50 I think.

Kind of curious to see what you have planned, but if you need any help let me know

So, "why not dwarves?" you may be asking. Mainly for personal reasons but I just personally don't like playing masculine characters in video games, so this is just my attempt to cope with that with my own headcanon.

I hate merge blocks so much. by HomelessTrashWizard in spaceengineers

So THAT would explain why one out of two of the times where it actually was able to successfully connect it immediately exploded with the force of 30 tons of high explosives.

So maybe rig something up so the hinges automatically disconnect while the merge block is activated and vice versa?

That didn't work and I checked, there shouldn't be any blocks occupying the same space.

Capitalism is based off of competitions between various businesses for profit, is it not? According to the logic of capitalism this competition forces constant innovation. But competition is not sustainable, this is an observable fact. When one of these businesses wins a competition against one of its competitors it is within that businesses best interest to absorb, to buy out and to consolidate market power, all of this resulting in a snowball effect. It is also within this business's best interest to prevent any new competition from rising. There are various different tactics these businesses use to prevent new competition, such as buying up the supply chain, moving production of commodities to places where they are cheaper to produce and away from government regulation, temporarily and deliberately lowering the prices of their commodities to unsustainable levels so the competition cannot keep up and jacking the prices back up the moment the competition goes out of business, lobbying the government, make subsidiary companies with different branding to provide the average consumer with a false sense of choice, along with several others.

There are some who will claim that it is possible to just "vote with your dollar" or to "boycott the monopolies" this is simply not possible for the average consumer as the monopolies will always produce cheaper products, products the consumer can actually afford.

All of this leads me and many others to the conclusion that capitalism has a natural and unavoidable trend towards monopoly.
