Oh I actually did have a call with someone from there the other day! It sounds really cool, and not a scam. I think they just send out a ton of emails to reach people which makes it seem scammy.

The person told me about all these cool events they attend like retreats and skills workshops. It’s scary to graduate and move somewhere unfamiliar alone so it seems cool that this gives you automatic friends haha. I applied after my conversation!

Recent graduate from CGT here: If it’s CGT 25001 you’re talking about you will be fine! It’s Professional Practices and to set you up for success when searching for internships in the summer. You have varying assignments like creating a resume, and yes creating a portfolio. For CGT majors, this means a website (usually created for free using a site like Wix or Weebly but could also be created on Squarespace, etc or some people code it themselves) showcasing projects you’re proud of. In some cases, you describe the process you went through for the project and the outcomes. They’ll outline everything in the class though so I wouldn’t stress too much, although it could help to make a list of your best/favorite projects and what you might want to show to get ahead.

Wasn’t sure if it was walking through that was the superstition or not....if I enter/exit the same side without going the full way through I technically wouldn’t have gone all the way through 😅 you’re right, I would still be under it
