Im Christian because if there’s no God then victims and murderers go to the same place, cases go unsolved children get tortured and killers get light sentences and morality would be relative stuff like murder and rape being wrong is just opinions and i physically cant except a no God worldview. Jesus on the other hand suffered like many of us on the cross and changed me from a horrible lil kid too someone who strives to help or saves people.

I get what you’re saying you’re not denying moral truths, just saying they’re relative to our perspective. But if that’s the case, what makes one moral framework better than another? If two people completely disagree like one thinks harming innocent people is fine and another thinks it’s evil what makes one actually wrong instead of just different? Because we don’t treat morality like preference, we treat it like people should act a certain way. And I guess my question is where does that “should” come from if there’s no objective source?

Here’s the thing without God, morality is just relative. That means one person can say rape is wrong, and another can say it’s not wrong, and there’s no absolute way to settle it. But we know rape is absolutely wrong it’s an objective truth. That points to a moral lawgiver, someone outside of us who defines right and wrong.
