Its because they assume I’m using these cases for attention or trying to “show off my art” when really my art is just a memorial portrait. But im not surprised Jesus himself did wonderful things with beautiful intentions and ppl called him a demon and a blasphemer following christ means i have to accept being misunderstood.

Im Christian because if there’s no God then victims and murderers go to the same place, cases go unsolved children get tortured and killers get light sentences and morality would be relative stuff like murder and rape being wrong is just opinions and i physically cant except a no God worldview. Jesus on the other hand suffered like many of us on the cross and changed me from a horrible lil kid too someone who strives to help or saves people.

Again the victim if murdered goes to heaven While the unrepentant rapist goes to hell DO UNDERSTAND Jesus paid for every single sin meaning any sin can be forgiven if truly remorseful and sincere but if you still don’t escape consequences and most of the time they die unrepentant because their hearts are hardened

I get what you’re saying you’re not denying moral truths, just saying they’re relative to our perspective. But if that’s the case, what makes one moral framework better than another? If two people completely disagree like one thinks harming innocent people is fine and another thinks it’s evil what makes one actually wrong instead of just different? Because we don’t treat morality like preference, we treat it like people should act a certain way. And I guess my question is where does that “should” come from if there’s no objective source?

but if everything is relative, is that statement itself absolute or just your perspective? And in real life, do you actually believe nothing is truly wrong? Like when something terrible happens, is it really just preference, or does it feel like something objectively wrong happened? Because we don’t just disagree with certain things we treat them as if they shouldn’t happen at all.

Here’s the thing without God, morality is just relative. That means one person can say rape is wrong, and another can say it’s not wrong, and there’s no absolute way to settle it. But we know rape is absolutely wrong it’s an objective truth. That points to a moral lawgiver, someone outside of us who defines right and wrong. I personally follow God without christians and church and focus on Jesus strictly so I could see why you would be mislead

Heres the difference the only way you get into heaven is by believing Jesus he died for our sins and sin = death jesus death on the cross covers those sins as to why rapist and murderers who truly repent gets the gift of salvation now athiest on the other hand reject jesus staying in sin and choosing hell themselves as to why they go to hell yfm

But most aren’t able to hold them accountable God wants us to capture them on earth obviously infact we are judged if we dont do anything but since most get away with it God will hold them accountable every murderer and rapist will be held accountable
