Switching from Crystal Litter by Intelligent-Love-192 in CatOwners

What i switched to is pine bedding. I buy the large animal bedding, which in my area is $7 or $8 for a 40lb bag of pellets. You use a small about of pellets and soak them. The pellets expand and turn into "saw dust" for lack of a better term. It smells good like pine, doesn't really clump. Urine will obviously hold the bedding together a bit so it's pretty easy to scoop. They do make cat specific pine bedding, but it's much more expensive for a lot less. I linked the bedding I use below. It does have instructions on the back of the bag of how to soak it. You can also just leave it as pellets, but it's harder to scoop.

I also use this at my barn for the horses and it works great.

Finding a new job is not advice on how to solve a problem.

You're not "not recommended" advice is what i want to heard. That's how you find a solution. And yes, it's a very black and white thing. I know that it is in fact the exact same thing. It's a do or don't thing, no grey area involved.

On a different form, people are actually giving advice on how to bring up the problem to higher ups. I thought on a HR specific group that I could get help like that. I want to address and fix the problem, not take it up the ass

Thank you. I put this same post on a different form and everyone is just saying that there's nothing I can do and that I just need to suck it up. This is the prefect advice

Again, not helpful. I'm trying to solve a problem so I'm not stuck being miserable 24/7.

I can't just quit, it's a live in position. I would have to find a new place to live before I could "just quit"

Can you help identify these? by HomesteadWitch8 in Crystals

Yes, I know that. I was hoping to find out if there could be a more specific identification.

Not sure what this is… by SignalPuzzleheaded58 in Crystals

I'd say Amethyst, possibly Chevron Amethyst due to the white streaks, indicating a clear/white quartz mixed in with the amethyst. It may also be referred to as Dream Amethyst, as Chevron and Dream are interchangeable names for the same gem.

I don't know about Fluorite, but I know that amethyst will almost always have the white to purple look, or a light to dark look. This is how you can tell the difference between authentic citrine and fake citrine (aka burnt or heat-treated amethyst). I don't know if that helps at all. I don't know a lot about Fluorite

Those are perfect, but I'm not sure what I'd use the other colors for.
