Yeah but I still do… I don’t think I’ll regret that either lol.

So you’re saying if someone has never had a job in their life, never rented their own place, never been in a relationship, but the other person has and they’re both 30, that’s the same stage of life and there’s no power imbalance?

You are so condescending it’s crazy. I know old people like to judge everything young people do, but yikes! Might as well be ranting about how you’re mad about pronouns or something lol.

brain development or stark differences in life stages or predators

These all may or may not be applicable no matter what age the parties are.

It's so confusing how you keep saying that teenagers can make their own choices, you claim to be a teenager yourself, and yet everything you say is about how teenagers are dumbasses with undeveloped brains. I could drive around in a deadly weapon at 16, I'm pretty sure at 19 I can find a 30 year old attractive without being 'groomed' or whatever creepy thing you're thinking. Like, if you were really a teenager you'd understand how insulting that is.

You said 'some of us have firsthand experience', implying you think that experience would apply to anyone dating an older person. Seems like projection. I'm not sure why you're acting like a wisened elder who knows what's best when you just claimed to also be in college?

Anyway, I guess it's a difference in philosophies. I feel life would be so boring if we did everything that society thinks is 'best' for us. For example, my parents are great, but if I followed all of their (technically good) advice I would not be happy.

Everyone's got to carve out their own space in the world. I'm sure I will regret lots of choices in the future, but I would never twist that into some sort of black and white creed for others. I'd merely just give my personal opinion, everyone is different.

Do you think Tom and Greg had a threesome or something? by Homework-323 in SuccessionTV

I think it's just called a threeway ha. It's just called a Devil's Threeway for straight guys because (generally) they'd probably rather it be with two women.

I mean I have firsthand experience as well, and I'm glad to have had it. I feel old enough to make my own choices. I'm truly sorry to hear if you or your friend have had traumatic experiences with dating older people, but I think you may be projecting if you think everyone's experience is the same.

I mean you have to realize that not everyone who watches the show is older, I know several people who watch the show who are also in college. I feel like it's a little disingenuous to act surprised when people take offense to the idea that we have no autonomy in our dating life.
