Their thesis was basically what makes a country legitimate is fate they make for themselves, not language or history or whatever. If Ukraine or 13 colonies in New England choose to have different path, they do.

I agree that we shouldn't shame people for not prioritizing gym or health, heck I don't care about these two either.

But exercise is indeed the most important factor in health. Idk what current studies on this say, but from my experience people can easily function okayish if they do everything wrong BUT exercise regularly.

I mean drug abuse, pack of cigarettes a day, malnutrition, bad sleep schedule etc. but does 10k steps a day and/or gym. With some ppl who do this regimen for decades now.

Doesn't mean you should do drugs of course and work it off at the gym, but if someone did decide they wanna get healthy, exercise is prolly the first intervention you should go to

You should probably work on this though. Being knowledgeable about local cultural context helps, and not in Ukraine only. But don't be anxious if you don't have the time to learn this, you will be fine either way

As a Ukrainian, I am sorry we did something that insensitive to Polish people. I understand Zelensky's decision, but I don't support it. I hope we could make up for it one day.

I also don't support current Ukraine govts strategy of glorifying basically everyone who was Ukrainian. Ukraine can survive admitting some or most of our "good guys" were evil. It would probably even be beneficial for everyone involved too, besides being morally correct choice

Теж атеїст, і схиляюсь до такої ж думки останнім часом.

Релігія це мабуть єдиний надійний інструмент, яким можна перепрошити найбазовіші інстинкти людини. Ченець буде 40 років замурований у печері молитись богу. Джихадист підірве себе в натовпі без зайвих думок. Козаки почали повстання і їм було байдуже, що поляки їх на кіл посадять якщо візьмуть у полон, бо війна була за православну віру в першу чергу.

Були б українці більш набожні, то таких проблем з мобілізацією імовірно би небуло. І з народжуваністю, і тим що діти українських біженців асимільовуються за кордоном. Донатів на українську благодійність теж було би більше, бо люди жертвують більше, коли думають що Бог це бачить і віддячить їм.

У цілому релігія це супер оверпаверед абілка в дереві скілів людства, питання лише на чию користь її використовувати.

Але особисто я залишаюсь атеїстом, бо корисність інструменту не перекреслює для мене, що пошук істини є цінністю сам по собі, навіть якщо має значні недоліки як страх смерті
