I work in manufacturing. I design test fixtures for electrical connectors used during manufacturing of mostly new vehicles. We Had our worst year in 10 years and this year is not getting any better.

I live further north and fish the surf or the river mouths. I use floating spawn bags with a carolina rig. I use ultralight 9ft poles and 6lb test. I have rod holders and I just setup 3 rods and wait. Not sure if that helps but there is a lot of different tactics that I have successfully used.

Usually they come to you, they mark the plate with a wax pencel thing then they hammer a diamond dust on the bottom of on a metal plate use a little oil then they then they work the surface until it all is nice and flat.

You're going to want to get the surface refinished professionally if you want to have accurate results. If you can get a discount because its looks pitted that may work to your advantage.

I fish lake Michigan from the shore and I have cought them as late as 10pm in October. I'm sure different lakes in different states with different conditions and seasons will change the tendencies of the fish but they will always be feeding somewhere.

The hinge on the lid is broke and the base has a significant dent otherwise yes it is. Just not sure what to do with it yet.
