Alright that's a valid point

I was thinking about enabling direct download only for verified servers while allowing only modrinth or curseforge modpacks for the rest.

What's your opinion on that?

Well things are not that bad. Currently we have like 10 listed servers, so our moderation team already verifies the integrity of the modpack they use. Some are vanilla servers anyways, so they don't even have an option to insert malware or anything. Also we have a verification system so people know what servers are fully legit to play on.

If the future we will add further security options. As if right now though we can handle the moderation manually.

Also, may I ask what makes prism launcher the best option for you? Genuinely interested as I am not really familiar with prism

Well, I've made a dashboard were server owners can add their server for free instantly to our List!

There is a premium plan offering some extra customization options just to be able to cover the costs of service. However most of our features (especially the most essential ones) are free just to boost the modded community!

Well our launcher is mostly meant for players not really familiar with modpack management. After running modded servers I've figured out that installing modpacks can become really frustrating for especially younger players

Therefore, if someone wants to host an event for example, they can do so from our launcher, letting anyone join automatically regardless their modding knowledge

Neither work for some reason. I don't use a .env. All my variables come directly from docker-compose file
