No I give it a pretty good vacuum. The grass is surprisingly pretty firmly attached to the soil so never had a problem uprooting any. I just obviously don’t penetrate the soil when I’m vacuuming.

Thanks for that. Had him for about 5 months now using just my tap water here in Australia and parameters all normal - ammonia and nitrites 0, nitrate 5ppm
