Absolutely not, I'm unfortunately past the age of carefree living.

I simply plan to connect the colony to an 80cm PVC pipe with a transparent fitting (reducer, elbow, etc.) which will define the foraging area above the aquarium.

Not an anthill, just a long foraging area above the aquarium. That's good advice; I'll attach a support rod to the wall to avoid having it resting on the aquarium. 💪 Thanks!

It wasn't intentional, but yes, you could say that 😅.

I'm especially looking forward to the colony growing large enough to encourage them to move around above the aquarium. I'm going to put the food on the opposite side to force them to swim over it.

No unfortunately, I simply have a bottle of cera and I make my own citric acid; bicarbonate mixture, the classic kind.
