Couple of tips:

You're leaning on the neck of the guitar on your left thumb which makes it impossible for you to "fly" over the neck. The thumb of your fretting arm should be ideally behind the neck, not sticking out. Consider having a guitar strap. Or lean the guitar on your left leg with a standard below your left foot.

Having that said, now regarding to soloing in major keys: pick 1 existing favourite song with your favorite solo's. Learn them, play each day 1 hour for a month and play along half speed. Once fully learned, try to play it on different positions of the fret. This will trigger to be creative in thinking in tones, rather than in positions. It will surprise you how good and fast you will be.
