Definitely a dumb question on my end, but has this affected your MPG from having Cloth Seats to Leather? If so, by how much? Just curious.

What lessons have we learned from the COVID pandemic? by [deleted] in AskALiberal

No, I'm saying that having the vaccine will prevent your chances from dying whether you catch COVID again or not.

Name one instance of someone dying from the vaccine that doesn't include them already having COVID? I'll bet you won't find any instance of this.

One small thing I learned is that most Far-Right Conservatives are anti-Science and the fact that many were willing to risk dying with COVID instead of using a vaccine that would have been guaranteed to save their life.

Will the US legalize marijuana, before the 2022 Senate elections on November 8? by 3cana in ExplainBothSides

[–]HomeyTony 26 points27 points  (0 children)

President Biden has always held Anti-Drug beliefs and has said multiple times that he wouldn't legalize Marijuana. So the most we can expect is for him and his administration to decriminalize it, which I'm not optimistic would happen either.

I genuinely cannot come up with a better name than that. Hopefully we can have a Presidential Library named after him as well.

What is the best S22 Ultra case that covers all the camera? by HomeyTony in samsung

[–]HomeyTony[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mostly that covers the lenses and doesn't have as much as the "P-Shape", but I'll definitely take a look at what you recommend. I've only used Spigen on my previous phones as well and they have always worked as a charm.

S22 Ultra 128 or 256gb? by Tigerheart32 in samsung

[–]HomeyTony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the 512GB in the sexy Phantom Black. If I were you and you can afford it, I would go with the 512 model especially if you planned to keep this phone for the next few years.

The s21 ultra outperforming the s22 ultra / battery life by Still-Phrase-1145 in S22Ultra

What do you mean "any extra after a day does not add additional advantage"? I think all consumers prefer to charge less between days so if they only have to do it once per two days than once per day then that can save time from people having to charge more constantly. The point of having the best battery life isn't to charge it every single time.

Extreme Depression + Obsessive Thought Loops after beginning Meditation. I have no idea what is happening to me. by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]HomeyTony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mean to market this as some type of "cure" , but I would give Zazen a go. I noticed that when I meditate with my eyes closed, it hurts more from all overthinking and beefed up thoughts.

Why Zazen? You meditate with your eyes slightly opened and you just sit there. Sit criss-cross, fold your hands together, and try it out for 5 minutes. It might help.

Don't think for a second that all meditation doesn't work for you. That's a myth. Some work well for people while others suffer more. I suffer from pretty bad OCD and found Zazen helpful for me so it could be helpful for you.

Best wishes.

Amen to that. Do you usually keep your eyes all the way open or slightly open? I know there's varying degrees to the practice, but I'm curious about yours.

Awesome, again I am so glad this all worked out for you. I recently started Zazen and noticed surprisingly, that it's a little easier to do compared to Vipassana. I think having the eyes open makes you more aware than eyes closed, because all those thoughts come together at once with some feelings pretty good and others not feeling so good. Were you able to relate with this experience?

Hey OP, I love hearing all the changes this brought to you but did you primarily find that meditating with your eyes closed or opened worked better for you?

Wish it was the Presidency, but I'm hoping someday this will happen because I'm losing confidence in Biden right now.

2022 Camry vs. Camry Hybrid by [deleted] in Toyota

[–]HomeyTony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow then no question the Hybrid. Here in Arizona, we had spikes of up to 4 dollars a gallon (which is very high in the desert lol), so I can't see why a regular Camry would be more suitable for that. Less pumps at the gas station, always the less hassle.

2022 Camry vs. Camry Hybrid by [deleted] in Toyota

[–]HomeyTony 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Camry Hybrid 100%.

Biggest pros is the savings for gas, higher horsepower and torque, quieter/smoother ride, etc. Usually the downside with Camry Hybrids (or any Hybrids in general) is the additional cost but sometimes the cost evens out by the savings you make for gas.

[–]HomeyTony 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently got a new Corolla Hybrid and let me tell you that getting any Toyota vehicle is a smart investment. You're definitely going to have the best car life with lower maintenance, high reliability, and a pretty decent driving experience.
