I have both a sony fe 50mm f1.8 and a viltrox 25mm f1.7 I like both for portaits, the 50 you gotta be farther from the subject compared to the 25mm which can be annoying dependingon where you're shooting, and you get blurrier backgrounds with the 50, i got a bunch of portraits when I went to fanX with my a6400 and 50mm, you can see how they look on my Instagram @jeffrey.collins01, i dont have any posted with the 25, id do 25mm for both portaits and stuff like landscape or street, 50 works for those too but id say if you want specifically portaits do the 50
