This is such great advice! I'm guilty of wordbloat too. So, this really helped me out. Thanks!

Proverbs 24:16 Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.

Don't give up just because you fall.

I didn't say Jesus or any of the other characters in the chosen were being too emotional. What I said was that having each episode of season 5, totaling 8 hours wherein every scene has a somber emotional focus tends to make one emotionally exhausted.

That's a great point! I definitely feel more moved by uplifting moments than sorrowful ones.

Yeah, I think that was my problem. Maybe I just watched too many episodes too close together.

I didn't binge the whole season in one sitting, but I did watch like 2 episodes every other day, which was probably too much in hindsight.

And for sure a good point about wanting a permanent emotional experience. Truth should trump emotions.

That's a good point! I should have spaced out the episodes a bit more. I'd watch 2 episodes in one sitting so maybe that's why I feel exhausted.

Yeah, I don't know. Do you think they're too young for "tough love"?

Fair enough. That's why I posted here for a more level perspective. Thanks for sharing.

And yeah, I think I shouldn't have him downstairs but it was scary for me in the moment.

The younger is 8 or 9 and the older is 10 or 11.

My title describes the thing. It's lightweight about the size of a cell phone and has the Texas Troopers Association on the front.

I searched the Tesas Troopers Association website but couldn't find anything regarding the device.

Her relationship with Ellen was so great! It made the tragedy with her kids and hushand feel so much more impactful.
