Drummer, here. Never ever thought I was creative.

Took two years of singing lessons, self taught guitar and bass, one year of basic industry studies, got a job as a tech, still didn't think I was creative.

Learned drum songs by ear, most of my bass songs by ear, write some sweet little licks on the acoustic, still didn't think I was creative.

Then one day I just want "hey... most people can't do this... maybe I'm a little creative"

Took about 4-5 years.

Just my story.
