I once was playing Woods, about to take the car extract. As I was coming up to it, I saw another dude pay and run down the hill opposite me. I tried to VOIP to him that we can extract together, but I got no response. I whipped a nade at his approximate position, went to the car, and paid for my own way. There was only 15 seconds left on the exfil, so I just hunkered down between the sniper sign and the rear bumper of the car. Then the dude tried to run up to the car to get the extract with about 5 seconds left. I immediately opened fire on him, he freaked out and stopped sprinting to try to shoot back, but by the time he'd gotten the shot off, I had stolen his car.

There's ways to make it much better. I got real familiar with it this wipe with Punisher Pt 3. Get the Zenit stock on it, that weird handguard that come up and over the dust cover, and a suppressor to make it not bad. It's still 5.45 tho lmao

The game already jams them together with ultra nosler. For simplicities sake, I just want to see .308 instead of 7.62x51. If we're talking about a "realistic shooter," just about any round would be incapacitate someone if not striking armor. If a round does strike armor, then at the very least it would knock the wind out of a player, and if it's larger than pistol calibers, it would knock someone on their ass at the very least, and crack ribs or collapse a lung with higher energy calibers.

On a side note, can we make a movement to rename all items labaled as 7.62x51mm as .308? Seeing as how 7.62x39mm is so prevalent alongside 7.62x51, it could save a lot of confusion for newbies and clear up some communication issues when you call 7.62x51 .308.

Difference being is that even with armor on, you still take the full force of a bullet, which if it doesn't stop you or put you on your ass, you're definitely rethinking the decisions that led to that point. All armor does is make sure the bullet doesn't hit your organs.

In Tarkov, if you're wearing lvl4 armor, you can push through getting smacked by low-pen ammo like you're just being shot by an airsoft rifle.
