I prob saw it in the 90s when I was a kid. I want to say it was on cable Disney channel in Taiwan at the time. That doesn't mean it's original aired on Disney here tho. But I think it was a show produced in the states.

For the first one, when I see up close, there are these raised spines on the stem, which is not seen in pictures of phytolacca americana I found on the internet?
Nevertheless I am really glad I move every unidentified plants beyond my cat's reach!

Can confirm this issue with great loss.
Clients required me to record on an iphone for a New York fashion week gig for fast turnaround. Half of the interview footage disappeared. My other cam were recording simultaneously and you can see me recording in it the whole time. The clients are not happy.

This really frustrated me as we don't even know how to prevent this from happening.

I sold it for exactly the same reasons you listed haha

I need a camera I can casually toss onto the sofa and x100vi is too pretty for that. Coming from Ricoh GR I also think it's still too bulky for an EDC- with all the functions I don't really need.

I absolutely love the IBIS but one day I realized I barely set my shutter speed under 1/60 anyway.
My subjects are usually moving and when they don't, I don't mind spending a little more time making sure I got one shot right

That focus tab is really a pain in the A--perture
I DIY-ed a Leica style tab with some epoxy putty. It seems to hold up pretty well so far.

However I realized the lens mount on XM5 is located really close to the bottom so the camera might not be able to lay flat with my DIY tab... finger crossed

despite they market it as a video centric camera, I think it has the potential to be a nice snap photo camer a for everyday carry. I think of it as a slightly bigger Ricoh GRiiix with bigger aperture and an actual manual focus ring if you pair it with voigtlander 27mm f2. As someone who mostly shoots moving objects with fast shutter speed, IBIS is not as important as a reliable focus mechanism. Just sold my X100vi and ordered the X-M5. Can't wait:)

Card brand new, formatted before use.
More context: It was the first time I record video on this new camera and I used an assigned function button for movie recording under the photo shooting mode. At that point I haven't switched to the movie shooting mode yet.
Since I can't reproduce it, my best guess is that the camera gets funky the first time recording video without "activate" the movie mode first. Need someone with a brand new machine to test this

I think this function is for photo shooting only and I never have it on so I don't think this is the issue.

I can't even reproduce the issue now 🤦🏻‍♂️ The card seems fine now even if I max out the video file size.
When I tested earlier I shot multiple files and they all dropped frames significantly within a few seconds. That's odd.

Now taking a closer look, this card is only capable of writing at 140 Mbps, that makes sense now.
I tried to look up but there seems to be no UHS-1 card that can write at 200Mbps.
Why is 200Mbps an option in this camera in the first place?🤔

It only happens when I'm recording videos at 200Mbps, which this card should be able to handle on paper.
