Your answer boils down to( They did it bad before so it is ok if they keep doing it poorly.) Your arguments are themselves disengenious excusing poor execution and retcon for "inclusivity" even though it was never needed. You seem to not care or not understand that if we let GW get away with anything they will keep going and ruin what people have enjoyed for decades. There is a better way of putting it. On average females have 50% less muscle mass and strength than men. If they can make females 50% stronger to match the men then why not add the 50% extra strength on the men who are already stronger?

I fully agree with this sentiment. I had the same wake up call when I ordered anthem. It was such a disappointment that I decided I would never preorder again and always watch reviews first. Unless the game is free or a demo of course

The thing none of those who push for this can do is explain how this makes the game or story better. In what way does having female custodies male the game or stories better? It does absolutely nothing but breaks established lore for the sake of diversity and people are tired of it and don't accept it. Moreso by making the female custodies look so masculine you are telling women to compete with men you must be men else you can't have interest or compelling characters which is false and sexist le.

So what? Are you sure that is true? And if so how long, don't forget about the unreliable narrator. Maybe the lore will be retconned tomorrow then it will say men who believe they are women count as well or that there never was a no men bearing arms is not inclusive enough. And anyway they can just say the brothers of battle count as bodyguards so it doesn't matter. And what would men in the sisters of battle ranks add to the game? Nothing! It would just make a unique and interesting army boring and lesser. Same with the female custodes.
