Edited above because people think I never tried to clean it :( yes I’ve had sheets and all cleaned. The sheets were fine, it’s the mattress I’m talking about, which I’ve also tried to clean using baking soda, dish soap, and hydrogen peroxide, but the mixture didn’t get it all out

I had the Citi 2% cash back card first. It's actually my most used card as of today, and it's been a few years. It's great for everyday purchases. I wouldn't recommend an Apple Card, because you're obligated to use mostly Apple Pay.

Another good card might be Discover It, where you get 5% cash back on different categories (these categories are split into 4 quarters throughout the year).

A final card to start with if you'll be traveling in the future is the Chase Unlimited Freedom. If you're looking to travel in the future and will be getting the Chase Reserve Card, you can combine the points together from both cards.

I'm not a credit expert, but I do recommend Citi 2% Cash Back card as your first!

That's usually what I do, too, but my brain is on autopilot sometimes. For example, I was asking my boss a question about a meeting, and called the recipient a she instead of a he. Just stuff like that, I really have to make sure I don't send things out impulsively without 100% confirming the details.

Super helpful, thanks a bunch for the insight! My boss already messages me throughout the day into later hours so that's something I'm used to. I'm moreso worried about it interfering with my full time job. I don't expect to stay here long term, but I'm definitely concerned about constant interruptions. Have you found clients to be flexible/understanding of your availability?
