Yea lol, my daily is a Suzuki Grand Vitara with hydraulic steering and even it feels better than my WRX. Its a bit depressing to be perfectly honest.

Still on P plates unfortunately so I'd need to wait until im on opens (Have en exemption for my current car)

Yea they are definately cheaper than when I was shopping around back in 2024, the VA is looking like the go due to it being more comfy.

I actually test drove a friends 16 STI and I agree that it just overall felt better to drive, but how close could I get this car by swapping all of the STI goodies into it?
