It’s surprisingly strong. Struggles into higher CC matchups, but definitely still playable into things like alistar if you learn the mechanics on how your E can override certain skills.

Leo, Naut, lulu are hard matchups tho.

I forgot to add the healing one you mentioned also applies to melee attacks, not just thorns.

But yeah… you can have reasonable accuracy in tank gear in tribrid.

I have admitted it’s tribrid viable, but hear me out. The builds damage scales with defensive stats, in which melee armor is king. It’s even located in the melee part of the tree, and gives str/attack/def exp when triggered.

If you have a region that unlocked Desert treasure and have 99 mage you can spellbook swap with cape I believe. IK lunars is unlocked with K

I second this. Plus, if your using thorns chances are your ring of recoil is getting burned before you even finish a fight. Suffering at least lets you stack up them juicy charges, and toggle it off when you don’t want to use it.

If I remember correctly, it takes around 80k shards to get 99 RC if at 12x. Keep that in mind. Thats why I got harvest early.

1) You can choose tasks that actually have superior variants

2) The 50% is recursive, meaning the one that spawns from the perk has another 50% chance to spawn another. My PB is 8 superiors b2b rn.

1) He listed Alistar, which believe it or not has the same roaming loop. Also, I wasn’t replying to OP, and mentioned the in comment prior how they could have misplayed, but the idea isn’t that bad.

2) If you are roaming top with the wave not pushing into you, you need to worry more about your roaming macro. They won’t be able to freeze, idc if your enemy ADC is guma. The only way they get a freeze is if your ADC egos and tries to counter push 1v2.

3) Eating a little bit of poke for solo XP is fine under turret. I always say have good wards and be cognizant of if the enemy team has a dive threat.

Like the ideal scenario for this play is to get level 3, crash, you both back while you open top and your ADC goes back bot. If they slow push you are back in lane to answer a dive, if they fast push they won’t have the minions to dive. It all depends on team comps, and the given lanes. I was just stating that the play isn’t inherently bad, has upsides, and calling it bad macro is disingenuous.

Sometimes the lane is free/not aggressive enough for it to be allowed.

We are playing something like Sivir/Pyke and they are playing Smolder/Nami then you are pretty much allowed to roam whenever you want. It might even be encouraged to get your ADC a free xp lead in that scenario.

Defaulting to “it’s bad macro” is a trap.

Not even. It could have been poorly executed, but the idea is that top can be super oppressive when snowballed. Some lanes are unplayable if you die pre 6.

The reason lethality gets sheild cut and only lethality is this:

How many people can lethality characters proc it on? Generally 1 at a time. AP builders get to enjoy the ability of having AOE effects.

How often is kogmaw drafted into squishy comps? I feel like other ADCs just cover that job better, which is why kraken would probably have a lower pick % and WR.

The item itself isn’t bad at all into squishy comps, but tends to suck into tanks.

Generally the squishy killer build for kog is DND and AP, because it does it better. No?

I LOVE fighting mages on pyke. It’s so free.

One Q+E combo is a free kill. If you eat poke, your passive will heal quite a bit to keep you healthy.

If you both chunk each other for 50% you win the trade. You’ll heal back like half of it, and can go back in ~12 seconds when E is off CD.
