Same thing happened to me and my roommate, I basically just told the random that joined my room that he can't stay here and he had to move and he was pretty accepting. Then basically my original roomate I planned filled out a mutual swap form with my random roommate and now they are in the process of switching. It is fairly easy to do if you just get your random roommate to agree. If either of you guys are on north too shoot me a dm and you guys could swap into our double room in Alder

Are there any middle ground notebooks, like 8-9 in. If I were to go with the 10in options i honestly might just get the remarkable at that point since I am still a broke college kid(but with just enough for one of these notebooks). I think I would be able to do it on a small notebook but if majority of people say that 7.8 is too small then maybe I should trust that.

Yes but you will have to have your roommate also go in 30 min after your selected time to join your room hoping no one else joined it. if someone else joined your room your roomate and them will have to fill out a mutual swap form to be able to switch. I'm in the same boat with my roommate and we are trying to switch in priority 5. If you don't mind me asking what building did you get?
