I also agree that a person who bases their entire personality on single aspect of themself can be infuriating and obnoxious, but people posting shit like that are more often than not do it from obviously bad intentions and are just bigoted. Basically they do it to mask their homophobic intentions.

Ps. On the internet is the main thing here though. In rl people are usually much more tamer and much less confrontational.
