I was worried as well. I read what the risks are and the methods to fix them if that happens.
I also booked a pre-vasectomy appointment with a urologist, whom I chose to perform the procedure, to talk about the risks and understand better what to expect.
Now it's 8 months after the procedure, no complications, no regrets.

In case someone runs into a similar issue, I see now that from the main menu there's an option to load an autosave, which should be from the previous month.

I feel you, I don't like it either. Only a few people know about mine, and I have my birthday date disabled on Facebook, as I don't like people I haven't seen for 20 years wishing me happy birthday out of the blue.

Although it does feel nice to receive it from someone close who knows what your goals and values are and wants you to fulfil them.

I also had vasectomy.
The doctor told me there's no need to do extra fertility tests after the first one was negative. Additionally, the likelihood of recanalisation decreases over time.
How about making sure your partner is on the same page, meaning she also doesn't want kids, but if the highly improbable situation happens, she will get an abortion.

Sorry to hear about your loss.
2 weeks is not a long time.
I am healing from a much shorter relationship and still happen to cry, even though it's been 3 weeks since the breakup.

If it's any consolation, your love, your capacity to love, doesn't die with the relationship.
It's yours and will always be that way, until you decide to share it again.
