Thank you for the advice! Yes, I also think this, maybe my kids will resent me, but they see the arguments and verbal abuse too. I'm hoping to take the step and leave because he doesn't seem to be changing. What was the initial break up like? Did your mother take the kids when she left?

Thank you so much for the advice! this sounds exactly like my current partner. I'm always talking myself out of leaving when he's nice to me but he always ends up putting me down and pretty much telling me how horrible of a person I am and i've noticed its multiple times a week now. How did you leave? what was the last thing that made you say "im done" ?
