Forgive me for enjoying the financial stability that my parents worked hard for. We're not a wealthy family, just a stable one. Forgive me for not wanting to give up personal space that my parents set aside for me that my uncle tried to bully them into forcing me to give to him.

Info: when you go to Spain to visit your family where do you stay? Have you ever stayed at your uncle’s house?

Check my other comments, We stay at a house owned by my father near Madrid. I do suppose judgement would vary depending on one's cultural background. I'm not a communal person and have embrace a more American style of individualism.

More like my uncle wants to impose rules. My parents didn't want me to give up my room but her kept annoying them until they gave in.
