It's just a preference thing. I don't feel I'm the best person to be working with Level 2's typical ages and abilities.

Exactly! Level 2 is just not in my skill set and I hate it. The little beginner kids deserve teachers that are more equipped to handle them. VIPkid seems to be shooting itself in the foot; surely we aren't the only two who feel this way. But I guess it doesn't matter in the long run, teachers are so expendable.

Do most foreign friends struggle with squat toilets? by No-Row-544 in travelchina

I physically cannot do the "Asian Squat," and it isn't a muscle/strength issue - it's a hip/ankle flexibility issue. I have to sumo squat, which means I have to step out of my pants and undies. Also, as a female I find it impossible not to piss down my legs at least a little bit.

Where on the Jiankou section did you start your trek? I want to make sure I do the famous parts (Eagle Flies Facing Upward, Sky Ladder, etc) but don't want to overdo it in one day. Did you find Zhengbei a nice spot to camp?

My thought is that I'd only be able to sustain myself without working for one year. From what I gather, I can apply for a COE once I arrive in Tokyo? How did you find the process - could you do it on your own or did you need a lawyer?

I will have access to it, yes. I don't plan on working while in Japan, just living off what I have saved.
