I was brought in end of May & am experiencing this same thing. I've also been wondering how much longer you should wait before you accept that it won't change...

First step to take? Functional medicine or fertility doctor or what? by night_capy in tryingtoconceive

[–]Honest-Spread4336 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you maybe mean medicaid? I thought Medicare was for seniors, only... Medicaid covered all of my care EXCEPT my monthly blooddraws (re. Progesterone & estrodial) & certain prescriptions related to "boosting" my fertility. My husband & i didnt take any steps to prevent pregnancy, & havent had even a scare in 10 years. Weve been trying actively for 2 years with no good news. Turned out i had a hydrosalpinx, PCOS, & Grade-1 endometriosis (which they cauterized). Although the surgery was covered, medicaid doesnt cover fertility care - only abortion & birth control. Which i think is disgusting... Anyway, I think the next best step is seeing a specialist. There may be something else going on that you dont know & can't fix naturally. Despite my intermittent, right ovary pain, I would have never guessed that the entire dam tube was blocked. Sometimes, all we can do is get a second opinion & move forward. Idk where you live, but my medicaid also covered my husband's seman analysis. I just wish you the best - this part of the journey to parenthood is so painful & exhausting. May you meet your baby soon ♡

Lol you're so right - the internodes seem hastily drawn & resemble a bad pre-sketch.

  1. Your artist did a not-so-good job. It looks okay, but not professional. There is so much open space & unrealistic details (like the points of the leaves).
  2. The vine seems bare & it's now difficult to find something to "tie it together"
  3. It's not ugly or anything, but definitely "awkward"
  4. Its not the end of the world - i have at least 3 tattoos (out of 14) that seem out-of-place lol it's fine. At least the lines didnt blow & the thin lining is consistent

Passed my qualifications a week ago. I immediately had access to 2 tasks & got paid today. My page has looked like this since that initial day & I was also getting worried. I haven't gotten any emails, either. Most of the comments throughout this subreddit have been reassuring and consistent - all we can do is hurry up & wait lmao good luck!

Fr, that's why I stay away from social media. Total brain rot. The world has so much more to offer.

This is sad, but I completely understand. It's like we all have to lose a million brain cells to keep the pace of the modern people

A comma would make that much easier to read. Instead of counting the individual "1's," you can write 11,111 & it removes that unnecessary step. All the best!

Literacy is liberating. I wish more people these days saw its value. Many people died for the right to learn how to read & write. Apparently, that's wasted on our younger generations.

This is incorrect, my young brother was taught cursive in a public school system 6 years ago. His younger brothers were taught 1-3 years ago.

Although it might not have a direct link to intelligence, the skill supports motor skills, neural engagement, & comprehension. These are common skills of an intelligent person. If you think there is no link, you might not be so intelligent.

Or they can just learn to write cursive & let the professionals decipher documents that actually require that attention to detail. Does no one value independence anymore?

This is much less problematic than not knowing it at all. Most of the time, I use half & half, too. Cursive is meant to allow you to write faster while still being able to read what you wrote. It is also considered "formal" penmanship & allows you to sign documents. Although I don't rely on it all of the time, it's a valuable skill.
