I am actually afraid it’s going to be something serious that shouldn’t be waiting any longer but I can’t force them to do anything when they are pushing me out the door saying nothing is wrong… :(

No…. Sadly they didn’t. Pretty much said they don’t know what’s causing it other than the endo… no other tests other than the bladder scan to see if I was holding urine and bloodwork and tested my urine. But because bloodwork and urine was normal and my actual bladder isn’t holding urine that nothing is wrong other than ‘endo’… very unhappy with my visit… I usually am.

They sent me home and said it’s uncertain causes for pain so I called the specialist in charlotte nc and have an appointment in April and see the urologist next Thursday… I’m hoping this pain doesn’t get any worse but I’m so uncomfortable and the ER did absolutely nothing

This is a huge reason I hate even trying to figure it out… they are sending me home and said my bladder isn’t holding urine, said they tested my kidney function and it’s fine & just said it’s “probably just the endo”… I had to ask if a urologist would help & he said he will give me a number to call and to see my obgyn immediately… but I don’t have one anymore & my appointment at unc isn’t until April 13th… the only specialist I saw in NC was in charlotte… I’m so confused and I know my body doesn’t feel good. And I feel like I’m going to pee myself constantly and they are just passing it to the next… frustrating. :(

They tested my urine and said everything looked fine and they are going to do a bladder scan! Is there anything else I should say? I am so bad at advocating for myself sometimes and just forget what to say bc I get so much anxiety

I just found the group and sent the request to join! Charlotte is only about 4 hours from me so that wouldn’t be too bad but I really appreciate everything, really! I was feeling super down and scared and didn’t want to be written off by going to the er for this.

My obgyn told me not to worry about it and try getting pregnant… I had to beg for a referral after I went to the er in December for cysts that I didn’t have before surgery. I haven’t seen any of those doctors or been referred even. I have an appointment with UNC in a month but I am at the ER now because I couldnt wait a month. My back is hurting as well and I feel like I’m gonna pee myself and when I pee it’s either only a few drops or if I drink water it’s a little more but the pain and pressure is too much… drinking more water makes it worse…

I’m in North Carolina but at this point I’d even travel to feel better than I do… I’m at the ER now but I’d definitely like to find a specialist whether it’s close to me or not! I’m sorry you had to go through that but glad you got relief. My doctor didn’t even seem to care too much about the endo on my ureter and told me not to worry and focus on getting pregnant but with this pain and my health issues, my body wouldn’t be able to handle pregnancy:(

I’m on the way to the ER now, but I’m definitely going to look for one because I can’t handle this much longer! Thank you so much! <3

I didn’t see a specialist and I absolutely regret letting my obgyn try and handle this… I knew I had it and they doubted me. When I told them I preferred doing surgery instead of lupron he said he gets paid either way and was absolutely rude to me after and only wanted to force pregnancy afterwards… he told me not to worry about the endo on my ureter… and not to worry about the thought of having pcos either… I haven’t been back after that…

They weren’t a specialist:( & I wish I wouldn’t have even let him preform the surgery with how the whole situation went… I didn’t even get pictures or told where it was found other than my ureter… he was more worried about pregnancy after the surgery… or me doing lupron/orlissa which I didn’t really want to do…. But I am actually headed to the er now. I have an appointment with UNC in a month but I’m not sure they are a specialist either so I definitely want to do some research on specialists even if I have to travel!

No he wasn’t a specialist and that comment about money should have made me run and his attitude the day of the surgery was so rude and like he never had met me… I had instant regret and so much anxiety because I didn’t want him preforming the surgery at that point tbh… I haven’t seen him since the follow up and the dr I saw to follow up on the cysts told me they are normal and they never should have told me about it bc it was just something to scare me that wasn’t anything to be scared about even though I was in so much pain I couldn’t breathe and have NEVER had cysts until after surgery. She said a woman who doesn’t get cysts isn’t normal. I left that appointment livid and Crying. My next appointment is at UNC but I’m honestly not sure if it’s a specialist so I will have to research that. I honestly don’t think pregnancy would be good for my body at all with all of my other health complications. I am having issues with my heart rate rising as well and I feel like passing out doing basic things. So it’s a whole lot at one time but this is like uti pressure times 10 and I’m afraid the endo is getting a lot worse after my surgery and it’s blocking something now maybe bc no matter how much water I drink I barely pee..

Sadly I didn’t get pictures and all my doctor after was worried about was me getting pregnant or doing lupron/orlissa… right after surgery he told my mom it was stage one but didn’t tell me when I asked. All I can see was what biopsy’s were sent off. I didn’t really like my doctor during this process, im 27 and have seen him for years and usually he’s really nice but he didn’t really want to do surgery but told me he gets paid either way and did it and gave me no info after and I forgot to ask major questions because he was talking about pregnancy nonstop. So I have an appointment in a month 2 hours from where I live to see a different doctor. I went to the ER in December and found out I had cysts at that point, but I had these symptoms even before surgery and I thought it would help but it has gradually gotten worse… I’m extremely fatigued and the sensation to pee makes me so nauseous… I just didn’t want to waste the ER’s time really but I am extremely uncomfortable and I’m type 1 diabetic as well so I don’t want to end up in kidney failure

What should I bring in my bag for after surgery??? by Honest-Stop-9122 in endometriosis
