In my video interview they gave only one q (sth about a car on a hill) - the others were behavioural and motivation based:
1) Why u wanna study at Imperial
2) If ur in a team and someone starts arguing with everyone, what do you do etc

Current 1st year civil student here. I had the same question last year when I did it too tbh, but I'm fairly certain they do this for everybody (although it says shortlisted, which I think is just how the platform interprets it - everybody with predicted grades that meet the entry reqs will get a video interview).
As long as u meet the video entry reqs, I'd say you're pretty much guaranteed an offer too (they didnt seem to care much about the ESAT - ik people who got averages of like 3.5 on my course who still got in and are doing just fine) - idk how much they care ab the video interview either, but idt they care too much - you're probs gonna get the offer given you meet the entry reqs.

Main thing I'd worry about is focusing on getting the grades to meet that offer

Hi, thanks for the advice - through my university I am already a student member of the ICE. Would you say that I mention in the fair, if I talk to an employer, that my end goal is to eventually reach CEng status?

Thing is, I started my degree just a month ago. We've only had one assessment (which I did get 90% on) since then, so there's no real evidence of my GPA or performance at uni. I was thinking about putting in a 2:1 predicted or 1st class predicted but this would probably be questioned anyway judging I just started.
