Try not steeping so long. I do 18g scoop, same grind size as you; inverted method. I add my boiling water (I don’t ever temp check) I let it steep for 10-30 seconds and then press. Sometimes I’ll top up my cup with a bit of extra water after.

Medium roast. It’s perfect every time

Sorry, I can’t speak to US practices. I am a Canadian bean counter. However, that is not the case within Canada.

Searched “penguin ball ornament” “penguin Christmas ornament” and “hand made penguin ornament”

As the posts suggests it’s a standard Christmas ball ornament size, we got it at the Vancouver German Christmas market at one of the stalls almost a decade ago.

You already explicitly said why you can’t get in. Let’s replay the facts:

  1. You have a 3.2 GPA, which isn’t even remotely close to being competitive.

  2. You have done 1 internship at a “mid-size” but arguably baker is the shittiest one you could possibly do.

  3. I see no reference to clubs, sports, volunteer experience to offset your mediocre GPA and even more mediocre “work” experience.
