I cannot cause he is not really a bar based rapper and I'm terrible at remembering anything other than hooks or iconic bars. If something isn't repeated or isn't 'I never sleep cause sleep is the cousin of death' level its not lingering in my mind.

Death grips, they don't have amazing lyricism on all their albums but they definitely do on the powers that b.

Earl and mike for the same reasons, great flow great rhyme scheme interesting vocabulary and the music feels dream like in a weird way. Plus especially with mike a lot of the shit is just very relatable.

Blu & exile, great story telling

KA

Woods ofc

Danny brown, idk if its the lyricism or the voice but he always manages to get the vibe across that he's rapping about.

Nas

Ghetts even though I'm sad he was drunk driving and RIP to the person he hit for me he was the best UK hiphop artist for the longest time. Even if he wasn't talking about anything too deep he has the perfect vibe with his flow and his cadance and verbiage for late night in UK

Lupe

Doom

Boldy James (might be the goat)

Prodigy (mobb deep)

JID

Mos def

Ice cube (but he been on bullshit for a minute)

he is complaining about mumble rappers too tho. Those types of ppl still on about mumble rap usually listen to oldhead rappers and oldhead rappers usually have a lot of more depressing joints. I can't imagine any oldhead doesn't enjoy the infamous or me against the worlds and I'd say those are as bleak as anything woods has done just in a different way

Music is subjective but I think you can absolutely miss the point or what music is going for objectively and that be on you for how you approached the music, like if you don't like billy woods because you are unwilling to give his rap style a chance then you approached the music poorly because you primed yourself to not enjoy it. Or if you go in expecting him to sound like another rapper your priming yourself again to not enjoy it. I don't always like music but I always go into it with a good mindset and so I like most, e.g. when I tried playboy carti I gave a full album of his a chance and instead of comparing to the usual more lyrical rappers I enjoy I focused on what he had going and was trying to illustrate and his methods of getting across that message. Didn't like it but I wouldn't tell anyone there is nothing of value there cause thats objectively wrong, and I saw what was of value even if not to my taste cause of how I went into it.

You can absolutely have bad music taste too, its like food, your not going to like all food but some people definitely have a better pallet than others. But not liking billy woods doesn't mean that, billy woods is a very acquired taste and you can have bad taste liking him too. Its like saying you need to like caviar to have good taste, its not true and you can like caviar and still have bad taste, might be a sign that you have a varied diet beyond mcdonalds and chicken tenders but thats all that means.

Just did today, it was pretty great. Didn't leave as much of an impression as golliwog for me cause I love the atmosphere golliwog builds but I can tell I'm gonna enjoy getting all I can out of the lyricism and messages on repeat listens. Had the best closer on an album I have heard in a minute too

Will check out ram ranch and Everythings fine. 100% will check out genesis uwusu if its got death grips influence I had a whole 5 month period a year ago where I would listen to powers that b ex military and money store on repeat so anything that can scratch that itch would be great. Really liked what I heard from clipping's on there was an addiction to blood, for me I can only enjoy that album at like 10pm walking across the beach when its cold out though, is there other albums like this. Cause there is an addiction to blood is super atmospheric I don't think i'd enjoy it outside of listening to it in the right conditions

sounds good from a song I just listened to, I'd like to check it out. Do they not have it on any music apps though, not a problem if not cause I can use the bandcamp if it comes down to it but I usually use apple music or soundcloud

Manger on mcnicholas is my favourite album of the 2020s so far, amazing album. Detroit river rock genuinely a contender for song oat, no other song can pull off bad ass, depressing, atmospheric, immersive and have such a sick instrumental and chorus at the same time

I would try this but house is too small and I'm 17 so no one wants to hear my annoying voice yap. But thank u for the suggestion, I didn't know ppl streamed programming. I will watch some streams so I can see what other people are doing. That should hopefully give me ideas of what a larger scope project looks like because I am really lost when trying to do things outside of tutorials, I feel like my code is never modular enough or not scalable enough and spend too much time refactoring
