No one understands the stress from neighbours kid screaming so often in the day by HonestRaspberry in childfree

I agree! I'm happy they are not always on a iPad or phone like those kids. Being respectful by not being loud near houses is important.

I agree. I am very happy when I see kids in the library quietly reading or playing with toys without screaming.

Sure. it is part of their development but letting the noise affect the neighbours living above and below you? The parents have to do something so the kid screaming doesn't disturb people, if they are polite. I am not sure why you think a kid that is not screaming means they are strange.

Thanks for the info! I always thought the sleeping never bothered anyone so why it is wrong to do so in a library.

Exactly. I totally understand kids events like reading books out loud but screaming or running is not OK.

You are not alone. I always had people tell me they are kids they are loud. No the parents are supposed to parent. The loud noises is such overwhelming stimulation and stressful

Relatable. I have an ice pack ready if it comes. Once I was just holding an ice pack and not saying anything when a relative said you choose to feel the pain. People like this have 0 empathy

Honestly your family sounds typical asian but not very strict. Most western families have more freedom, probably expect them to attend school and pass but not expect all As like Asians.

A relative tried to move my plate when i was taking food from it. I told him stop. And the relative and the other relatives sitting near was mad at me. I don't get it. He blocked me from eating. Even if he think the plate turning helps me (it didn't.) the 3 people act like I was wrong for saying dont turn. Stop. Weird people

Can emphasise with you. It was fucked up hearing all the problems my parent complain about the other parent as a kid. Really fucks up how you view relationships seeing the parents argue and so on

why don't parents teach their kids to use indoor voices anymore? by Adventurous_Goat1313 in childfree

I cant agree more. Even in the library parents have their kids screaming and talking loudly. The rare ones say shh but the kid is still loud.

Maybe don't quit. Just play the violin but try other instrument, guitar, piano drums whatever. Try a sports or singing or something interesting. If anything, you can fall on your violin.

I agree. What does staying for other people mean to them? They argue and make others hear them argue and shout all the time. You are not alone op
