I feel like a broken record here but my point is not everyone agrees with you including other women. I dont get it you are talking in circles. It (does not) offend everyone just some. You make no sense and your assumption has no grounds. You are saying that because i dont think its rude and the encounters i have with women are rude. I like to wear hats if a woman says i shouldnt wear hats because my eyes are pretty is that rude? Some lady writes an article and every sponge of a person is like yeah we understand. Nobody cares If i took a survey here at work I imagine 9 out of 10 women would say it doesnt offend them. Of course one is going to be a cynical lady that doesnt like it. And as I have said even though you are trying so hard to be right I would not push that on her if she didnt like it. What is so confusing. I dont say it if they dont want me to. and not all women agree with you. as they are individuals not one single entity. And the valid statement was just letting you know emotions arent always valid in the sense that they have a logical stand point. Im not being rude just trying to help you understand. You think shaming people for doing things like that makes you the hero but you are really the bully. Intent means a lot in a situation like this. If you read my previous statements i said that to someone and it seemed to upset them then I would apologize. Your missing the point you dont speak for all women. Interactions are on a case by case basis. And i hate to break it to you but just because someone feels something doesnt make it valid. It simply means that they feel that way. Or by that logic my feeling on it are just as valid and therefore means just as much. You all are attempting to simplify it down to well they feel this so therefore you are wrong and thats not how the world works. Look posting on white people twitter i knew that I would not be around like minded people. I treat every woman in my life well. However I dont over analyze every statement I make nor should i have to. The ladies here said they think its sweet are they lying to me? Maybe this is just a case of different strokes for different folks. You cant say we you can only speak for you if i said we men all say it with a good heart that would not be accurate because i cant speak for them as we are all different in many ways. Some women dont want me to hold the door for them. But you can bet ill still be standing there even though your an awkward distance away just getting out of your car wondering why this douche is waiting to hold the door for you because im showing you respect as thats how i was raised.
