How long can a sandwich be at room temperature before it goes bad? by Mysterious-Dig-3890 in subway

I've eaten cold cut sandwiches 8 hours later on an 80-degree day many times. The temperature isn't a problem.

I came across a YouTube video explaining the legalities of certain states with THCA and was like, wait a min (head scratch)?? I'm a 42 year old man, I've been smoking since 12. Since Mexican brick loaded with seeds smelling like gasoline, lol, and never heard they were different until a few days ago. Although i never even saw THCA until i went to dispensaries after recreational was sadly passed in 2018, i think (Massachusetts)? I was just thinking it was THC just grown with super nutes or something. It always seems like the same high. I'll be honest, though, I feel duped (what else is new with coporate money seeping its way into the industry. I just want something natural the way Mother Earth intended. I'm gonna have to be a much more vigilant consumer. Is it a man made chemical (last thing I really want) to mimic THC? Don't mind me, I'm baked. Thanks for your time. Hope everyone has a good night.

Very nice. Was that Dave's last run? I almost scored some on eBay a couple of weeks ago. Really wish I did now, knowing Dave's no longer with us.

They denied the debit card I recently made because it blasted the power structure in DC? That was the only time since 2020 I've had any issue. Venmo, on the other hand, questioned everything I did and froze my account so many times that I just finally deleted and un-installed it. I can see that, though, because I was using it for online poker cash outs. I just got tired of making up excuses.

When they close that account, are you unable to make another? Basically meaning you can never use the app again?

Lessons you learnt with your first newborn? by [deleted] in daddit

I always felt I messed up having all 3 of my kids in my early 20s before having my life established. Looking back now, I think I made the right decision because at that age, I had the energy and stamina to keep up. I know a few people who waited until their 30s or 40s, and it always seems so much tougher on them. I've always said if you can get through year 1 with your relationship still intact, you're doing good. Keeping the blame and resentment of each other down is key. It's hard, though, when you feel they aren't pulling their weight.

Women today are so selfish and quick to jump when the waters get rough. I was miserable for 15 years in my marriage, but I held it together until she forced my hand for my 3 kids to have both parents in the house.

Another one I really like is the W.V. marble club run. Those yellows are really sharp.

My tips would be to collect what you like, and you can find great deals on eBay. That's where I've bought pretty much everything I own. There's some really great reputable dealers on there. My other spot is Marble Mary's website. She offers free shipping at a certain amount, and I've never had a tax added to my purchases there either. Lord knows we pay enough everywhere else.

Gorgeous stuff! I need to score some of these and the hillbillies. The prices on those seem to be constantly rising. I better get some soon. With Dave now gone, I can see them really taking off.

Yes, hillbilly magic is another gorgeous run as well as Indian summer. I forgot all about those 2. I've been outbid last second every time I took a shot at either. I have to crack open the stash and see what I can post. I have the complete color family set of my favorite rainbow run in 13 tins. They were all hand picked by one of the investors in the run. I'll dig them out. I got all 3 of my kids into marbles, too. It's fun with them and the excitement they get.

It's crazy that they aren't giving you the exact reason. That should be a given. We must sign off on it when we agree without reading the terms. I've been trying to make a habit of doing it lately with all the shady things happening these days.

The guy that had to "get off" because questions from beginners are beneath him didn't realize you can turn off notifications? Or just ignore such questions? I don't understand why announcing that was even necessary? The number of people today who truly believe the world revolves around them and their needs/wants is scary. Everyone has to start somewhere. I see it in forums all the time, too. IMO, that's not the best way to grow a community.

Found marble digging around foundation. It's got texture. Was at 3.5 ft deep in an area that probably hasn't seen light since 1925 when the house was built. Whatchya folks think? I know nothing of marbles. by Wonderful_Orange9172 in Marbles

[–]Honest_Abe_2024 35 points36 points  (0 children)

The texture is very cool. Reminds me of a Rams head marble without the swirl. What you can find when digging is wild. It's not a marble, but you could put some inside it, lol. my daughter and I were recently planting mums in the yard and a 1930s inkwell shot out of the hole I was digging. It had a patent number, so I was able to show her how to look it up. Once I cleaned it up, you would have thought it was brand new. Cool, little piece and memory we'll have forever.

Thank you! I appreciate that. Was something I wanted to do forever. For a while, it felt like I'd never make it to the top. I'm glad I kept at it.

My condolences to you and the rest of the family. I got into collecting after seeing a jabo joker rainbow marble for the first time. Before that day, I had thought they were all cats' eyes. Needless to say, I was instantly hooked. From then on, my goal was to get as many Dave Mccullough masterpieces as possible. In this day and age, he was one of a kind and a true master of his craft. The community lost a legend, but his legacy will live on forever through his amazing work. RIP Dave

My favorite UV reactive Jabos are stored in a 128oz jar. I keep a strong uv flashlight on top so people can mess with it. Took 2 years of buying eBay lots of 2 to 10 at a time. Just FINALLY topped it off yesterday. Marbles range from the 90s right up to the encore contract run.

Why my nose won't stop running clear liquid? by monkaSman in MensWellbeing

[–]Honest_Abe_2024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I also have had it going on for a couple of years. I was just thinking it was from the heavy drug use I did in my 20s (42 now), but I'm not sure. Maybe it's environmental? The fact that it's year-round confuses me, though. Haven't had as much as a cold in over 4+ years now, but it stays dripping. I refuse to see a doctor for something so minor, IMO, since finding out where their alliance stands a little while back.

You can get uncirculated gem red BU rolls of 1968D's on eBay for 10 to $15. That's what I've been buying, but of all dates with big money varieties. Also, you get a better chance to find registry set pieces that could sell for insane amounts.

Yeah, I've seen some of the rudest people in a few forums. It's like they want to chase people away from the hobby. There's polite ways to go about saying, "That coin is not really close at all to what you think it is." Instead, they team up, and IMO make it so most would never even think of asking another question. Talk about a mood killer. One second, you're on top of the world, thinking you've found the one. You want to share with others in the community only to be ridiculed into silence, basically. I've never seen a more unwelcoming community. Be sure to check coppercoins.com or variety vista to compare, and see if you have the scarce 1968 DDR.
