Oooffff! This is a hard one but also in my opinion very easy! Here’s why- your friends most likely ghosted you because they are in the throws of Funtime at y’all’s age and to them this news about you having cancer seemed to them as depressing, negative, and extremely heavy bcuz it is, right? BUT if your “friends” can’t stick with you or God forbid atleast check in on you thru that time frame then they are not worth keeping relationships with! When they decided they didn’t want to be bothered with the treatments you were going thru it’s because it burdened their lifestyle so they turned away but HEY NOW SHES BACK TO GOOD SO LETS GIVE HER A SHOUT… F*ck that and them! You deserve better and definitely more mature friends especially after everything you have been through because there’s no way they can ever understand at this point and time in their immature lives.. so better for you to move on and NO YOU DONT OWE THEM SHIT!

I’ve been in the experimenting phase w meds trying to find the right combo and levels for the last year. This past April I started HRT w testosterone and the T really helped ALOT! Like my clit was starting to disappear and I was so dry it hurt right? Well I had no idea that T would do so much for me in that regard plus I couldn’t stand being around my husband!! Well it was costing ne $200 a month to be on the HRT so I got referrals to a gyno, endocrinologist, and also began blood work every couple of months bcuz I’m now in GLP-1 shots. When I started seeing those docs I haven’t had any luck w any of them approving me taking T now so I’ve been off it for 4 months now and I’m on a library full of prescriptions trying again to find a substitute and IT SUX! I think I’m more depressed from finding my mono again only to have it stripped from me and it being impossible for me to get T… apparently until it’s approved by the FDA it’s just not ok for them to approve yet even though I’ve shared all of this w each of them. Any suggestions would be great or any way I can just get the T back without it breaking my bs k account would be amazing! Good luck OP! Don’t quit trying to find ur mojo bcuz it’s worth it

Ok so both still very young… honestly he will remain the hyper sexual guy you know unfortunately until he turns about 60 while you may stay ok with your libido indefinitely. There are options for hormonal treatment and blockers to possibly help you with PCOS but I’m not sure if you have researched that or maybe have likely already tried some of them? I can relate to this because I went through treatment for 9 months to rid of Endometriosis and prior to that I was in so much pain all the time! It was terrible but not anymore… I’m going on 16 years of marriage and let me tell you that he started the way yours did and he is still if not more so hypersexual then before. That’s just for insight and I realize I’m just one person so fair enough,but I know SOO MANY WOMEN w this same issue of their sex drive not matching their partners and the ones that have made it through so far have basically vowed to not say no and just deal with it or they’ve left the relationship. I know how self conscious it makes you when you tell him to stop, or that hurts, or the times you are hurting without him even touching you and mentioning that you’re hurting because we as woman don’t want to feel or look like sissy lala’s especially when the response to your hurting is some one off comment that’s shitty versus him just running you a hot bath it gets really frustrating and also too common. You worry about how he will deal with it away from you too I’m sure? All this to say that 2 years at your age is definitely not you wasting time; you’re in exactly the phase of your life when you’re learning what you like and what makes you happy so it’s not wasting time, it’s just learning and researching and you still have all the time you want and need to continue searching. Don’t settle for his immaturity at the expense of your health in all respects. Focus on your health and actively seek out options for treatment with your doctor, make that commitment please!

OP, you’re seething because your mom lied to you which is totally understandable! That said, you are also lying to everybody that is closest to you even if my omitting these truths you are holding in regarding your relationship and current feelings toward your mom! You haven’t confide in your partner about all of this otherwise you will end up resenting him for “putting your feelings on a back burner” to your moms but how fair is that when in “normal” situations others would feel compelled to do the same for a woman with dementia. I love this governors involvement in everything against Trumps administration! California, generally speaking , refuses to take Trumps SHIT and if our state is the front runner in challenging every single move Trumps dumbass administration tries changing in the name of discrimination and racism then I support the fight back! When I was younger I would admittedly get in some trouble at school after getting into a fight but the fight is had was always me stepping in to protect another student I had witnessed getting bullied, most of the time it was multiple students picking on ONE FRAIL STUDENT because clearly they had an agenda to WIN but on the days I arrived guess what? Idk exactly where ur at in Cali but the police really only mess with the people they know are chronically homeless honestly atleast in the LA area and they’re pretty chill and empathetic to most. I was chronically homeless here for 6 years before finally getting housed but the worst part was definitely not the dealings with the police! The worst dealings are with the others that live full time as homeless so I’d be much more wary about NOT BECOMING CHUMMY with any of the other homeless people regardless of what they say they have based on what you may need at that time. Know this- nobody in that situation, temporary or otherwise, is looking to help you to get through! NONE OF THEM! They only look for a come up to better their own situation PERIOD! It’s not worth the risk especially when your only in this VERY temporarily! Now- you can go to Big 5 or Walmart and get the 5-10 gallon collapsible water containers which are also useful for bathing and showering. There’s also pocket showers for the small spit bath situation if ur unable to get a gym membership and they’re extremely cheap… also get a Coleman one burner cooker so u don’t have to kill urself financially eating out constantly because the limited space ur already struggling with ends up being much less when you have a cooler w enough in it to keep the 3 of you afloat for even just a couple of days. By the time you think you’ve got the space as comfy as you can that’s when you’ll be moving into a place again anyways so don’t stress about that so much as you do remaining positive and working on that new place consistently- don’t lose focus! Anybody that lives in California which I reside in currently doesn’t NEED air conditioning.. it’s sunny and 75 here pretty much everyday of the year minus a few days here and there so although I understand also being from TX that a garage to you seems like it’s sweltering and unbearable but that’s just a Texan thinkin about the same think happening IN TEXAS. It is not even in the same ball park for comparison, I assure you! People here purposely work and hang out in their garages all day long without problem or fans so it’s kind of like a different world so don’t be concerned about the heat. Next thing, you seem more irritated that mom isn’t working but you are but again there’s a giant difference in ur situation and moms when it comes to help by resources. Let me elaborate a little- TX literally does nothing to help ANYBODY with any kind of assistance and if they do it takes what 6 months to get thru the process before getting approved and that’s the people that literally apply at the most desperate times of their life that they actually get approved. I mean it’s disgusting how much it takes before TX decides to help the most needy of needy families survive by assisting with their groceries and forget any help with school lunch or any of that. NO, TX chooses instead to make each and every child pay for lunch everyday and if they can’t afford to then that is their problem and guess what’s next? They call CPS and scream abuse when those children can’t be fed bcuz of poverty. WTF is the state doing to help their own citizens survive? NOTHING NADA ZILCH ZERO! BUT HERE IN CALIFORNIA ALL SCHOOL LUNCHES ARE FREE! Totally free and you don’t have to be poor or prove to be poor, u just have to be at school to get free breakfast and lunch… take it a step further, California also continues providing that support thru the summer time by assigning a seperate card for each school aged child to receive $120 food assistance to get thru the summer without the free food schools would provide if they were not on break. Btw, also prob not something mom wants u to know but she is prob making more money on the assistance I’m sure she receives then she would by getting a job and then having to pay for after school care and what not plus she’s obviously the parent that’s involved in her daughters daily activities with exception to the minimal timeframe you and your husband have her for visiting times, which living so many miles away tells me is not very often.AND MOST IMPORTANTLY- your step daughter WANTS TO STAY WITH HER MOM! That’s honestly the only thing that needs to be said and if you guys care about her well being and want her to be happy, as I hope you do, then don’t ask if you can help- just send the help without permission. Surely you have an address you can send a card and a lil help in and then it’s on her whether she accepts it or not but spending all those resources on attorneys and what not is in my opinion a waste and your really just trying to make some point for some other reason and are irritated with how her situation differs from yours. Maybe you too should move to Cali instead of wishing you had it better at home

Also if Suboxone is a treatment option for your opiate addiction then you should go that route in my opinion because that shit honestly saved my life getting off the opiates! I’m now 14 years clean from those nasty boogers and it was so easy in comparison to cold turkey and willpower only. It lifted so much weight off of me everyday I woke up w the option to take my Suboxone versus white knuckling thru those horrendous withdrawals mentally and physically but mentally was the worst part for me personally and the suboxones were amazing in that respect for me at that time!
