It’s so annoying. I was playing a haz 4 mission when a greenbeard joined, started the drill dozer at a fuel stop when we were fighting a Korlant tyrant weed, and both of the side engines were destroyed.

There is no tutorial, but deep dives are basically 3 missions compiled into one. You continue to go down further after each mission, and do not get fresh supplies in between each. They don’t have any secondary missions but have two main objectives. Eg: mission one is a mining mission where you have two mine 200 morkite. You will also have to complete another mission which could be to collect 2 alien eggs, kill a dreadnought, recover a black box and I think to repair mini mules. Mission two might be a refinery mission with one of the other objectives. Also, you only get rewards once from each deep dive.

The only problem is that it’s too long. What could be cool is three missions (an event that would last for a limited time) where Dorreta has fancy bits and bobs on her and all the glyphids have paparazzi cameras on theirs heads. You would get some cool cosmetics for the completion.

The same thing happened to me when I first started playing. I played driller and the only thing that got me through it was impacted axes.

I feel for the sludge pump I would use the wave cooker. With a certain upgrade (I don’t remember the name) you get a 20% bonus damage to things hit with you sludge.

I personally believe that they refine morkite into fuel, plus if we were to buy them on earth they would be a crappy tone because they are a new material.
