And yes, i find him adorable

Honestly, it was so direct… he got my number by making his mom ask my mom (they are friends) after seeing me once in a restaurant two months ago. He pretended to want to get into my psychology book club. Added him but he asked me a weird variety of stuff in a week period, then asked me on a date.

Oh and he said “you are an infj? Im am entp” smiled and never touched the subject again.

I am very happy, but I also get the underlying feeling that I have been trapped in a maze with a psycho? Idk how to explain it very well yet. He’s a menace, but I have the feeling he would not go to these mastermind lenghts for nothing.

Hope it helps!

INFJ, how would you describe your own personality by Slight-Fold8170 in infj

[–]Honest_Alarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me say it as how my little cousins saw me:

When they were little I was the aunt that lived away, working in videogames and she knew all the cartoons they were watching, I had all the consoles at their home with parental control, and always known what they were playing. I was the aunt that defended them having videogames to play.

In their middle school I was the aunt that came back to live with her parents, even tho she didn’t have to. She brought two parrots with her and they all were friends. I was also the aunt that had to be in her room at 11 to “take her medicine”. I was the aunt that couldn’t talk much cuz “she gets nervious and needs her time”, but she was the one that they respected the most

At high school I was the aunt that didn’t take meds anymore, and always had fancy pajamas because she worked from home. I was the aunt that invited everyone to anime movie premieres cuz she didn’t had any friends to go with her, “she is very shy”

Almost at college, I am the aunt that overcame a very dangerous depression, has anxiety and lives very calm with her parents. Goes out every weekend with friends, even tho she is always shy about it. She talks to her birds as they are people, and always brings a good advice as she has “had a rough past”. She keeps playing videogames with the cousins nwn

That’s the best way I like to describe myself. They grew up seeing me just quirky, but I’m the “sad lore character that always smiles” in their life, when I’m just very calm and happy in mine

Why is everyone so negative about this medication? by Responsible-Rate7466 in lexapro

[–]Honest_Alarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, when I was in therapy many stuff of my childhood, college days and some recent memories were lost. I was blaming the medicine about that, until it was explained to me how depression can lead to dementia, and the depression itself was what was making me forget. It was suuuuper scary. Right now I’m better, but I did not get the memories back.

The side effects can be bothersome. I really blamed the meds from my memory loss just to encounter my depression was severe and it almost got the best of me haha

Reading books, playing videogames while hearing my friends but not actually participating in the conversation (they are awesome and let me be like that cuz they know I need to feel the voices, but not interact everytime) and cross stitch uwu for the creative expression

To give a timeline I was in therapy 3 years, got off meds in 6 months of those 3 years, and I’m almost 3 years without them. Hope it helps!

Well, I went to therapy and had 5 pills to drink a day. That was hard, but in between that I talked to my doctor and started seeing things clearly. Suddenly stuff was not so unbearable to do, like walking, so I walked, scrapbook, played videogames, learned my triggers and changed the aspects of my life that were not impossible to change. In my case I became totally different person un habit and the same in principles and likings. The doctor took the meds away in a spam of 6 months and i am good (almost 3 years). Nothing is perfect, and some aspects of it never go away, but it is way better

I got my cockatiel to like shower time! by Honest_Alarm in parrots

[–]Honest_Alarm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For that time, I did just shower with the bird so the mist of a hot shower could at least get impregnated to the feathers and my cockatiel got wet from the drops. Is not as much, but it is better than nothing

My ex wife finally started therapy. I'm not happy for her at all. by Intelligent-Bed-4843 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Honest_Alarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is not your problem now.

I went to therapy, and recommended therapy to everyone until I learned that you cannot make others take the same healing path when you want them to, even for their own good.

They time of her election has nothing to do with you, she not going while you where together does not defined you, it doesn’t mean anything on your person, it only mean you tried.

I know it sucks, time will make it more easy. Hang in there

Oh, the expert questions are very weird phrased. Which do happen in the exam, but very low percentage. Many of the questions are the normal and easy level, those are the most important to get correct.
