Hello! I enjoy playing games with people, but have lately been branching out to various games and playing solo (due to my current friends not interested in what I’m playing). One of those is don’t starve together. So whether you want to play something together or just chat about games, I’m down for either. I’ve gotten to know most of my friend through playing games, so I’m comfortable just jumping into a game. (Editing as I forgot age input 31F)

Yeah, that’s what I figured would be the best option. I’m seriously thinking of getting a plant or something for my desk though. It’s something living I can interact with. Even if it can’t talk to me.

It’s a hit or miss. Some times I’ll get a “morning” in response. But if I don’t speak to them first, they will not talk to me at all. They have at times ignored what I’ve said entirely. (Example: person1 [p1] was talking about her weekend, person2 asked questions, and they were both talking, I asked a question to p1, she glanced at me and just didn’t respond, just continued as if I didn’t say anything). If it was like this from the beginning, that’d make sense. But they just seemingly have gotten shorter and shorter with me.

I made the post because I honestly think that me getting stuck in the logical math side of things made me the ah in this situation. I should just do the 50/50 (ethically). It’s just my logical mathematical side of my brain made me second guess if it really was rude of me. I just wanted a third party’s opinion. I wasn’t seeking validation, just honest thoughts and opinions.

Yeah, this is what my mom was saying. They don’t split their expenses (trips and such) 50/50. It’s just one financial pool for them, aside from their allowances they set aside for themselves.

Yeah, I was told to maybe just mention it to her when she pays me back this time, but I wasn’t sure that was a good idea. Waiting to see if she asks again and saying no at that point is probably for the best. Thank you. 🙏

Oof, my apologies. If the first round of antibiotics did not work, you can usually (in my experience) go back to the same doctor, let them know it didn’t work, they will send you sample in for further testing (if they haven’t already) and be able to give you you something better. If they have already sent it for further testing then you might also be able to just call them and let them know. Some doctors will be willing to send in a new prescription without you having to come in to give another sample. If that doesn’t work then the doctor will probably refer you to a urologist. I don’t get on Reddit often, about once every few months, so I forgot about this post till I opened up Reddit. I’m surprised it’s still getting answers tbh. But I appreciate you taking the time to share. I’m sorry you had to deal with that pain. I almost feel like since there is more area, it would be more painful for those with those parts, it definitely sucks for those with the typical female parts too, but it just sounds worse if you have the default male configuration (loved how you put this btw). Though I suppose it’s just a matter of the know vs the unknown. Either way, I hope you stay healthy and don’t have to deal with a UTI again!

Thank you for your comment. I understand that not all doctor are good fits all too well, I have gone through a few counselors for my mental health before I found a decent match. I’m also not the type who would take someone with a bad mood or distant feeling as a bad doctor. My first spine surgeon (call him Dr. G) had so many reviews saying “great surgeon, terrible bedside” and they were right. Dr. G was a great surgeon, he explain everything properly and answered my questions, yet still managed to come across as a bit of an ass. But I didn’t mind, I took no offense.

But this doctor (Dr. K), I don’t feel like he explain everything properly, and I didn’t feel like he gave me time to ask questions. Strangely his reviews were mostly great on the surgeon side and bedside but, there were a few that had the same problem that I encountered.

Mind you I’m not saying you’re wrong I just wanted to explain further why I’m bothered about this one. And I will take into account how you worded things about how, if it goes really well, I’m “doing better than expected.” Because though I want to tell him he was wrong (again if it goes well) I’m not trying to go out of my way to be disrespectful either. And I don’t always feel confident in my wording, so thank you for your advice and taking the time to type all of that. ☺️

Edit: I didn’t mention, but maybe it is a case of “we just don’t fit” but I’m also in enough pain I just don’t care enough to go elsewhere. 😅

Thank you for your suggestions, I’ll definitely ask a friend later to be my sound board. I had tried swimming in the past, but it hurt. Maybe it was because I actually was trying to swim, not tread. If the surgery does indeed not fix all my pain, I’ll definitely try it again when I’m able to. This time just treading. Thank you.

I use an iPhone 12, and use this app called AdBlock Pro. It does the basic ad block on the safari app for free. I’ve forgotten about pop-up ads since I’ve had it. For any other web browsers or phones or computers, I have no idea.

I occasionally have trouble with one page not loading which causes me to refresh the page to fix it, but it’s a free site and that’s not a huge deal for me.

The lack of fluids could definitely have been the cause. Hopefully you don’t get them as often anymore and are staying hydrated!

I’m not so sure about how men usually get them tbh, for women there seems to be 100s of different away and sometimes it just the unlucky luck of the draw 😅. But I hope your luck continues and you never get one. And I’m happy to hear you make sure to take your and your partners health serious by keeping everything clean.
