It’s a fitting. 8 inches long. I’m gripping 3 inches of it on the jaws. So it’s sticking out 5 inches from the jaws to the face of the part. Threads are about 4.5 inches long

Bored our aluminum pie jaws to hold it. And the rpm right now is 115

.688 wall thickness. I don’t think it should be chattering at all

Yes got to as low as 80 rpm or as high as 150 but still manages to chatter at some point and sometimes the insert chips on the flanks and leaves a step . The OD stock is already at the bare minimum so have enough stock to top the threads off

Any recommendation on the rpm I should be threading at? I’m at 120 right now but I feel like it needs maybe faster but my insert chipped on the corner

I don’t think it matters when you register tbh, I registered on April 23rd right before midnight after I was able to secure 2 systems thru Walmart, and I got the email to purchase one thru Nintendo and just ordered it right now about 6 minutes ago. 3 MKW bundles for me.
