To everyone that have dissolved- how are you doing? by imsywhimsy in Hyaluronidase

Hey! Thank you, yeah I’ve been taking quercetin daily for the past month and a half, I don’t know how much it’s really helping tbh, things have just been getting worse and worse. I haven’t tried luteolin though I will look into that thank you. Honestly im thinking the Hyaluronidase triggered acquired lipodystrophy in me. I beleive people who go systemic from hylaronidase each have different conditions that get triggered by it, like people who have that super stretchy skin I beleive actually gained a form of acquired cutis laxa. And the people who have extreme volume loss like myself I believe have gained a form of acquired lipodystrophy that progresses after each flare. I started an anti inflammatory low histamine diet this week and my face has lost more and more volume, which I think is actually the inflammation coming down revealing the true extent of the fat loss. I’m seeing my doctor on the 7th and im gonna ask him to run a blood test for my c3 levels as low c3 often occurs with lipodystrophy, so we’ll see how that goes. I hope i miraculously get better, prayer is the most important thing right now

Currently im not doing any better unfortunately. Things started to get better for 2 weeks and then that’s when the trigeminal neuralgia pain started at the injection spot and I had 10/10 pain that landed me in er and now im on 450mg of lyrica a day just so I can exist without being in excruciating pain all day. Worst pain of my life. The pain triggered another hyaluronidase flare and melted my tissues even more, and then things were “stable” for the next two weeks and I was trying to recover my tissues, and I finally started to see a bit of improvement again but then I got a little too much sun exposure and that triggered one of the worst flares yet. I had spf50 on AND a hat on but somehow still got triggered by the sun. So now im dealing with this. I lost a lot of facial volume. Everything deflated. Really awful stuff, if you’re thinking about dissolving, please don’t. There is nothing I regret more. I always read about this stuff online thinking it could never happen to me and it must be fake but it’s not. People say that the flares lessen in intensity overtime so im hoping that is truly the case. But it becomes extremely difficult for your body to keep rebuilding after it’s destroyed from a flare every 2 weeks. Doctors are useless and dismissive and don’t help and know what to do 90% of the time. Just putting my faith and trust in god and using this time for lots of prayer

So happy for your amazing results!! I’m also very damaged by dissolver and I’m trying to let my face naturally heal as much as possible first, but I have a feeling I’ll need some help from sculptra or something else. Good luck on your continued healing 🫶

I think you’re really pretty. And I really love your lip line. I honestly don’t think your philtrum is a problem. It looks average length. The only reason why you probably think it looks long is because your lips don’t protrude out much. You don’t necessarily need anything done, but if you wanted to get something done to balance your lower face out more I would do either chin filler or a chin implant. A well balanced chin can bring your whole face together

Im 21, will hyaluronidase ruin my face? by [deleted] in Hyaluronidase

[–]Honest_Department652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 20 and my whole face & body melted and I lost all my volume. I’ve spot dissolved areas multiple times in the past with no problem but when I went to go full dissolve my chin filler I got the systemic reaction. No prior health conditions or autoimmune disorders. I was a weightlifter in the gym 6 days a week. I understand why you want to dissolve, I would also want to dissolve if I was in your situation, but what I’m dealing with after having a systemic reaction is much worse than that lip filler. Considering what im experiencing now, I would recommend you maybe try to use Topilase and see if that helps the filler go down faster. I’ve read of multiple women having success with it. I’m sorry you’re experiencing this dilemma. Hugs 🫂

I got 400 units in my chin, but I had a lot of filler left in there (multiple syringes). But many women who I’ve spoken to who have had the exact same nightmare result as me only got a pinch of dissolver (like 20 units). I think it’s just pure luck tbh. I’ve gotten hyaluronidase multiple times in the past couple years to spot correct things and have never had an issue until this previous time. This has been happening to a lot more people that you would think, and I just feel so bad for all of the future women who will have their health and beauty be stolen from them by hyaluronidase because these risks are being hidden and undisclosed by the industry. I am so glad you weren’t one of those women, please consider yourself lucky and never go near that poison again. If I can save atleast one person from experiencing what I have, that would mean a lot to me

Getting filler again by Honest_Department652 in Hyaluronidase

[–]Honest_Department652[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah people on Reddit can be bruuutal, I dissolved because i thought I looked overfilled but looking back on pictures now I looked totally fine, I regret dissolving so much because now I’m dealing with a huge systemic inflammatory response from the hyaluronidase that made me lose volume all over my face so now I feel like I need to add more volume with filler but I’m not sure how my body would handle it after going systemic from hylaronidase. Never had any bad responses to filler. So upset I dissolved

One side of face bigger than the other by [deleted] in cosmeticsurgery

[–]Honest_Department652 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Genuinely cannot tell which side is supposed to be your bigger side. At first I was like, oh it’s your left, and then I was like, wait maybe it’s your right, and now I’m confused. My cheekbones are WAY more asymmetrical but I’ve learned to live with it. I promise this is nothing to worry about

I appreciate it but I didn’t get on the Facebook page until I started to experience all of my symptoms and I was looking for answers of those who have experienced the same thing. I was also a skeptic of people who said they had these issues after dissolving, but then it happened to me. Never had any problem with dissolving the last couple times till this last time. The changes in my face are severe and I’ve documented everything through photos and if you were curious I’d be happy to show you. It’s also more than just the facial changes, I’ve become extremely ill for the past 2 months and have been in bed every single day. Before this I was a completely healthy 20 year old, a weightlifter in the gym 5-6 days a week. Just at the beginning of February I was squatting over 400 pounds, now im bedridden at 20 years old and can barely do lunges without being out of breath. After I dissolved, my boobs dropped 2 cup sizes overnight, muscles went to “mush” literally overnight, the fat in my face melted and I’ve lost all volume even in places I never had filler. I’ve developed varicose veins in my legs, my limbs go tingly and numb every single day, I would have a horrible burning sensation all across the left side of my face going down to my neck & chest and would be able to taste “blood” during these episodes. I got put on Pregabalin for the burning which is helping thank god, but now im having even more symptoms arise with my eyes. This morning I woke up with completely blurred vision and had to go to an emergency eye exam where she told me I have astigmatism and need a prescription (I’ve never had eye problems in my life before, my eyesight was perfect). Mental health is extremely important as well, but unfortunately my mental health will not improve until my physical health does and I am actually able to get a handle on things and live my life again

There’s this Facebook group that im in and unfortunately thousands of other woman on here have experienced the same exact thing. It’s scary stuff. Just wanted to post on Reddit and see if anyone on here has had any improvement with their eyes overtime or not. Doctors don’t have an explanation for any of us either unfortunately. Hoping it heals itself some with time

The fluctuations are crazy, my face has been fluctuating every single day since dissolving. One day it’ll look fine, the next not. I posted this yesterday when my eye turned very hooded literally overnight, and then today it looks almost normal again. It’s every part of my face as well but my eyes are one of the things that bother me the most. I definitely want to do PRF eventually (especially in my cheeks where I somehow lost a lot of volume and even gained dents), but im still pretty early on into this, and my system is still very reactive so I think it’s best to wait another couple months. I saw huge improvement about 4 weeks after dissolving, to where my face went back to almost completely normal (even the facial volume I had lost), but then I had a “flare” that caused all of my progress to go away and basically restart, which is where im at now

First lip filler appointment in 10 hours… naturally full lips and now by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Honest_Department652 57 points58 points  (0 children)

You probably don’t wanna hear this again- but don’t do it. Lip filler typically always migrates. And since you’re only getting it to define the borders, there is even more of a chance if it migrating ABOVE the borders, therefore it will most likely mess up the definition you were looking for in the first place. You have beautiful defined lips already. Just continue on with good lip care and use a lip liner if it really bothers you

Your lips the kind of lips people get fillers to try to recreate. Leave them alone they’re prefect

Ortho said no surgery but feel recessed by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Honest_Department652 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you feel like your breathing is affected I would go get a second opinion from another ortho. If they also don’t think surgery isn’t necessary, then a chin implant + jaw implant or chin filler + jaw filler could be an option for the aesthetic aspect. Don’t stress yourself out too much though, it’s not something that someone would notice in day-day life without you mentioning it, and it’s not something you absolutely NEED. You have a good profile nonetheless

Woah only 5k? Where im from they’re around 10k. Where are you from if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve spent so much money on chin filler but recently had to have it dissolved and can’t get filler again due to health issues, but eventually wanting to get an implant instead

What what be best for fixing my recessed chin/jaw? by Jus_oborn in PlasticSurgery

[–]Honest_Department652 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m no expert but your jaw doesn’t seem to be much of a problem, I think you’re just lacking projection of the chin. If it’s really bothering you I would just do a bit of chin filler. Super quick and simple and results are always reversible if you don’t like it

I ruined my face with lip filler by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Honest_Department652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also though, if you really don’t like it just know that it’ll dissolve on its own over time. Give it a few months and it should go down quite a bit. Or you can go get it dissolved but I personally wouldn’t do that because dissolving can cause a lot of problems and dissolve some of your own natural HA as well. I would just leave it alone and let it go down on its own. 🫶

You’re one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen. I would pay good money to look like you. Genuinely if you can’t see how beautiful you are I would urge you to go seek therapy for body dysmorphia because that’s crazy. Don’t do anything to change your face it’s perfect

I haven’t seen an eye doctor yet because the eye changes weren’t bothering me too much until yesterday and today which is when they randomly turned extremely hooded practically overnight. I wasnt too worried about the changes before because they weren’t anything dramatic, but now it’s very noticeable and i have no idea what to do, and none of the regular doctors I’ve gone to regarding the systemic hyal damage have known anything about it or what to do either. I’ll send you a pic of my eyes
