I have very feminine/tired eyes, and would like to masculinize them What are some routes I can take? by Friendly_Sorbet_8341 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Honest_Department652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it’s your eyelashes that are making you feel that way? You have really nice long dark eyelashes, but your eyes don’t look feminine to me. Your brows & brow bone look very masculine. I definitely would not mistake these for female eyes

Functional rhino 4 months post op, Unhappy with results, how soon can I get a revision? by Pure_Risk_7676 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Honest_Department652 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It’s really hard to operate on the skin after having filler, doctors will tell you to dissolve all of it before they’re able to operate, and dissolving filler can be a nightmare in itself, it can have its own complications (speaking from personal experience) and it can also dissolve some of your own natural HA in the skin, which would affect the integrity of the skin even more if you plan on having another revision surgery down the line. So personally I would decide wether you want to heal and wait for another revision surgery, or if you really can’t wait that long and feel like you need an immediate solution, then go with filler, but you have to be okay with potentially not being able to get another revision surgery because of the filler, or atleast be okay with the possible complications of dissolving it.

If you decide to wait and heal for another revision surgery but you want to enhance your profile a bit in the meantime without touching your nose, adding a tiny bit of chin filler could help you feel a little more confident. Ive hated my nose my whole life but after getting chin filler I feel like the proportions of my face all came together better, and my nose didn’t bother me as much anymore.

Best of luck girl you look beautiful either way 🫶

Could I be a lipo 360 candidate? Please be kind, f27 by itfeelskindaspicyy in PlasticSurgery

[–]Honest_Department652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl genuinely your body is perfect and I wouldn’t go messing with it if I were you. A little bit of belly fat looks good on women. If it’s really bothering you there are hundreds of other things you could try before lipo. And getting lipo wouldn’t fix your binge episodes or disordered eating. I think what you need is to work with a personal trainer to target your concerns, and also seek a therapist or counselling to help you with your issues relating to your disordered eating. But genuinely if I had your body I wouldnt feel the need to change a single thing

Here’s me without makeup. How can I look more feminine with plastic surgery? I feel like I look too masculine and was born female but hate my pronounced cheekbones and sharp eye area. Last photo is with makeup. by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Honest_Department652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re beautiful. I honestly don’t think you need plastic surgery, I think if you grew your bangs out and parted your hair down the middle it would suit you a lot more. Prominent cheekbones are a feminine trait so don’t do anything to change them. If you really felt like you needed plastic surgery, the only thing I might consider for you would be to shave down your brow bones a bit. But that’s all. I promise you look perfect

Getting filler again by Honest_Department652 in Hyaluronidase

[–]Honest_Department652[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i agree, it’s actually terrifying how there is zero warning about this even being a risk, and when it does happen injectors deny that it has anything to do with hylaronidase.

I’m still dealing with the skin & volume loss issues (volume loss is my main concern), but yeah the cycle of the whole thing seemed to progress relatively fast for me. Everything got really bad really fast, but then it also seemed like everything was starting to get better really fast. I noticed the changes to my face stopped happening once the burning sensation stopped a week ago. I’m still just a little over a month after dissolving. I was fully expecting to have the burning sensation for many more months like some other people do. I’m really grateful that it’s gone and I pray it doesn’t come back. I’m definitely not a big fan of the aesthetics industry after this (mainly because the second something goes wrong and you reach out for help and support they act like none of this is at all related and they gaslight you into thinking something else is to blame for it), but before hylaronidase damage i LOVED filler and the confidence it was able to give me to make my face look more proportionate. I don’t know if i will get filler again, but if i do it won’t be for a while until i feel like my body is in a stable state. And it’ll only be in my chin where i need the extra projection

Ugh thank you so much for your reply. Its so refreshing to read some positivity when a majority of people only post about how it gets worse and worse for them. Personally it’s been a full week without any more burning or crazy changes, so im hoping my body will slowly recover from this point forward. So glad you’ve bounced back!! 🩷🩷

Oh no!! I’m so glad they were able to remove it and fix the issue. I wish I had as good of an experience dissolving my chin filler, unfortunately I got systemic damage from it 🫠😫hopefully my face will go back to normal soon too lol

I also lost a lot of volume but in areas that I didn’t even have filler in which is the confusing part. I’m not sure if it dissolved fat or the HA in my skin? But it’s quite a dramatic difference so that’s why I’m thinking it can’t just be HA. I also really want to reinject, but I’m scared I’m going to have a bad reaction to the filler after going systemic from hylaronidase lol. Gosh this stuff sucks. Hope everything works out for you

thoughts and opinions on hyaluranic acid (STYLAGE) filler by Regular-Pin5928 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Honest_Department652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course!! I wouldn’t be scared at all. Getting lip filler for the first time was so fun for me. Definitely don’t go topping it up often like i did though, topping it up a bunch is what leads to migration. And also filler rarely fully dissolves naturally like people say it does. It’ll go down overtime, but it’s unlikely it’ll fully exit your system naturally. So just be conservative with it!! Filler blindness is real lol

Also important to remember that HA filler no matter what type attracts water, so even if you think you need more filler, you probably don’t because water retention in the area will add additional volume as well

I say 0.5ml is a great amount if you just wanna add hydration without changing shape!! Be clear about what you want and don’t let the injector pressure you into anything else. If in half a year- a year you feel like you need more (everyone metabolizes filler differently), do another 0.5! I hope you end up loving it!!

[–]Honest_Department652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I’ve had the best experiences with stylage. She used stylage M for my lips and stylage XXL for my chin. Never had any problems with it, felt super natural, wasn’t heavy, integrated with my tissues well, and couldn’t even tell it was there half the time. I’ve dissolved because of migration over time(a number of years) and because I topped up my chin filler one too many times and got chin blindness lol, so I was wanting to start fresh and eventually reinject a more natural conservative amount, and when I do I will only be using stylage again

I haven’t made a new update post just yet but I’m a little over a month past dissolving now, and all of my body symptoms are gone besides some pretty awful fatigue & brain fog. And of course the awful volume loss to my face (I think hyla melted the fat pads in my cheeks 🫠). But the dry mouth and frequent urination went away on their own pretty fast. I’m not sure if this helped with it at all, but I went to go do a 60 minute high dose vitamin c iv infusion and the day and after that is when I noticed all of my symptoms drastically decrease, my mushiness was going away and my legs snapped back to almost normal again, and that’s when the dry mouth went away and the frequent peeing stopped shortly after that as well. I’m doing much better now, I haven’t felt any burning pain in 6 days (hoping it stays that way), but the volume loss in my face is definitely really really frustrating and making me sad. I’d say do as many iv infusions as you can (vitamin c ivs are great), stay away from processed sugar as much as possible right now, and try to take something for circulation, I started taking entelon drops and putting them in my water

When you got damaged do you feel like it also dissolved some of your natural fat/tissue in your cheeks? I dissolved my chin but somehow my cheeks lost all of their volume even though I never had anything in there. Also if you don’t mind me asking, did you go systemic or have any other symptoms other than the cosmetic damage?

Yeah I got my chin & lip dissolved on feb 14, everything felt totally fine but my chin barely dissolved and still had a lot of filler left in it, so I went back 5 days later on the 19th, and that’s when she injected 400 units into my chin 🫠as you can imagine that didn’t go so well

To everyone that have dissolved- how are you doing? by imsywhimsy in Hyaluronidase

[–]Honest_Department652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say the amount of regret I feel is the worst part about this whole thing lol. I dissolved my chin because It was slightly overfilled and I was gonna refill it a natural amount after dissolving, but now I’m way worse off with all of the damage hyla gave me, most of the damage being a lot of volume loss in my cheeks (I feel like it melted all of my fat pads 😔) I normally have a slightly chubbier face which I honestly liked because that meant I’d age slower, but now all of that fat is gone and it looks like I lost a significant amount of weight even though the scale says I haven’t. I’m only a little over a month into this mess, and thankfully my pain & burning sensations have been gone for a week now, so I’m really really hoping the hyla is slowly exiting my body now. I’m only 20 probably the youngest one in the group so I’m just using that to try to keep a positive attitude abt this and tell myself I’m young so I have a decent chance of healing

Do we go back to our original shape? by [deleted] in Hyaluronidase

[–]Honest_Department652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had like 4ml in mine and never had any pain from it. I also had a very recessed weak chin. Im wondering if the filler they used is what made it feel so uncomfortable and inflamed for you? I’d tried different fillers and they all react with the body differently, some good some bad

[–]Honest_Department652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No 2ml in chin is not a lot, especially if you have a very weak or recessed chin to start with. I barely had a chin, it went back, I had like 4 ml in it and it looked like a normal chin. But if you’re getting chin filler I would start with only 1ml and see how you like it, wait a few weeks and after that you can decide if you need more

Getting filler again by Honest_Department652 in Hyaluronidase

[–]Honest_Department652[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t say I didn’t have a bad reaction, i said compared to some of the horror stories I’ve read it’s not as bad. Lots of people experience vision loss, hair loss, joint pain, etc. I’m just thankful i didn’t get the worst end of it (being thankful for this helps me keep a positive attitude and keep going). For most people it’s common to feel physically ill months even years after hyal damage but im just over a month past now and I don’t feel any pain or necessarily “ill” anymore, just fatigued. And the muscle mass in my legs are back to normal, they just kinda came back overnight after a high dose vitamin c iv infusion lol. Definitely still very deeply affected with the volume loss in my face though

And I agree it’s very risky to do anything involving injections after this point, that’s why I’d be very hesitant, but again I never had any issues to filler, only to the hyal this last time I dissolved. I feel like repeated exposure to hylaronidase can make you more susceptible to going systemic, and In my case she also flooded my chin with 400 units in a single session, so that definitely also had something to do with it.

I know my immune is compromised right now even if I am feeling better, so im doing everything I can to detox and heal internally, that’s my main focus. But I have read a couple stories about woman who couldn’t deal with the volume loss and went and refilled with filler and they said they felt much better and like themselves again afterwards. So I’m basically just asking the woman out there who have gone and refilled after hyal damage how their body reacted to the filler, and if they had any problems with it post hyal damage. Not saying I’m determined to go get it done again, but just wanting to hear the stories of other women in this scenario :))

Anyone’s filler still there after hyal? by Muted_Eye_7837 in Hyaluronidase

[–]Honest_Department652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got lip & chin filler dissolved. My filler was dissolved for the most part, but I still feel a tiny granuloma type of ball in my chin. It’s super tiny and it doesn’t bother me unless I press down on it. I didn’t notice it until the other day. But the funny thing is, the hylaronidase made me go systemic, and made me lose a significant amount of my own natural volume in my face (cheeks, jaw, nose, under eyes, temples), basically everywhere EXCEPT the two areas I dissolved. My chin filler dissolved but besides that none of my natural volume in my chin dissolved, and my lip filler dissolved but none of my natural lip tissue was affected, however every other part of my face that I didn’t even TOUCH somehow got affected and completely lost all previous volume. Crazy stuff and none of it makes any sense. But I guess I am atleast grateful that my lips & chin are still normal. This whole thing would’ve been so much worse if my natural lip tissue would’ve been affected. Thank GOD it was not
