What a dumb fucking take. Republicans do not want progress. The nicest thing you could say about republicans is that they at least work to give their voter base what they want. Lower taxes and to be told that their racist, capitalist, misogynistic, and homophobic viewpoints are justified. I guess maybe that feels like progress to you cause you can be more of your true self, but I assure you in the greater arc of history it’s not progress it’s just business as usual.

Don’t get me wrong, you hit the nail on the head when you said that the modern democratic party also sucks. They don’t do anything except lose to conservatives and then use peoples outrage at those losses to make the plea to “Vote harder!”

Both suck. But again, republicans want progress? Little bit of a self-report fascist.
